This place is fantastic and not to be missed. Fabulous food and the lady who operates it is the sweetest person in Canada. Definitely make sure to get an iced coffee, because it is divine. It's takeaway only and be sure to bring cash, because they don't take cards. There is a way to pay electronically if you're Canadian. There is an adorable park with picnic tables nearby and you can get forks and napkins, so have a nice picnic. read more

OMG the best thing we have eaten in our two week travels across NS!! So flavorful!! Whatever she has and recommends just go with it, she will not steer you wrong. Such a masterful cook. There is not seating but we had a lovely room nearby with water views so it worked perfectly for us. Cash only and some form of epay I was not familiar with is also accepted. Run, do not walk, to this amazing little slice of heaven in Lunenburg. Suni was a sweetheart from the minute I walked through the door, I felt like an old friend. I followed my nose into her shop and was greeted warmly, even though she wasn't quite open for the day yet. The specials for the day sounded great and her free sample had me hooked. We got the spicy pasta dish with a side of curry shrimp and green beans. Spice was enough to create flavor but not so much you couldn't enjoy it. Walked a couple of steps and enjoyed our lunch at the park. If I lived here I would eat her food every day she was open, it's that good. Thanks for our great lunch, we will be back! read more

Do yourself a favour and don't cook today. Instead head to this beautiful little cafe and get take out. It will transport you to a place where food is lovingly produced with a mix of flavors that are sure to delight. And don't forget a slice of cake or better yet buy the whole thing. I enjoy all of Suni's food but I crave her curried Potato and onion rotis. Also a great stop for vegetarians. read more
