The lady who did my massage was great, she asked before starting the facial massage, the only downfall for me was she didn't really get the heels of my feet which was odd. pricing is great - there is a upcharge for using the credit card. Ambiance is pretty basic but at the end of the day i'm there for the massage so I don't mind the lack of cool plants, new equipment etc. I will definitely come back when looking for a good massage vs spa expierence. read more

We went for a couples massage. I appreciated that they called me at my appointment time as we were stuck in traffic and were running 5 minutes late. The massage was fine. My other half requested they work on his lower back as it was very tight however both of us received focus in our shoulders. Throughout the massage, the ladies spoke to each other in a language I didn't understand: often laughing and leaving the room. All of these are things I can deal with-my problem was when we went to pay the bill and a $20 tip was not enough. The ladies EXPECTED a tip of $40 or more...for doing exactly what we paid $140 for. This is a huge turn off. We would have come back if it wasn't for this; they would have had the opportunity to earn our loyalty and we are weekly customers. This was unfortunate. I have had a few massages here. They were all great deep tissue. Only reason I'm deducting a star is because of when you pay at the end. They have a gratuity option and the only options are 40, 60, or 80%. Seems like they trick a lot of ppl into over tipping, if they don't notice and don't enter a custom tip. Asking for a tip of 40-80% of the total massage price is completely outrageous and greedy. It should be listed 15,18, 20% or even 18, 20, 22%. I always tip 20%. No Just no Was greeted by a woman, a man came into the room. No English. No questions asked about sore spots or preferences. Not relaxing in the least bit. Hard, short, fast strokes and I was covered in oil. Took my breath away at times due to the pain. Never have had my butt massaged before. Felt like he scalped my head, he scratched it so hard. He was breathing so heavy, it was definitely his work out for the day. I stayed because I wanted to see what was going to happen to next. I knew the damage was done and I'd be in pain for a week already. I am thankful for my husband taking it upon himself to book a massage for me after working nights this week. I've been getting a massage every 2 weeks since Sept 2022. There's always been a bit of a language barrier but the service was always good UNTIL about 2 months ago. Lately, there's always new workers there each time I go in. I like consistency. The final straw was today. I got there today for my usual 90 minute massage was led to the room by a new young female and received an inappropriate touch. There was some confusion on whether I wanted a male of female worker. I wanted female. The massage was not as good as the past, very light (even after she asked my pressure preference). After she ended 10 minutes early, I got dressed to go pay. Always in the last year of going there I pay the $105 cost plus $20 tip. I charged the cost to the card and handed her the $20 tip and she told me it was not enough! and was very upset I would not tip more! I have been paying the exact same way for 7 months. Needless to say, I told her I'd never be back. I will no longer be a regular 2week customer to Soul Massage. read more

Not sure how this place has 5 stars from the 8 reviewers. This place was NOT as great as the reviews seem. Those people must never have had a massage before. I came in today for a 90 minute. I regret it and wished I drove to Cedar Park to my usual place and paid the higher price and tolls to get there. I left feeling worse than when I went in. Walked in and was taken straight back. Told her it was my first time here. She said ok then told me to lay face down and they'd be right back and she walked out. I was a little confused bc she didn't ask me any areas to work on, avoid or anything. She came in few minutes later. They apparently don't have the proper pillow for the feet and only had a pillow, which was not comfortable but better than nothing. She massaged me for about 15 minutes or so with the sheets on. That's a long time. Throughout the massage, most of the focus was on the lower back, neck and head. When she started on my back (finally) it felt like oil was being poured all over and then she slathered it everywhere. It was very uncomfortable. Barely massaged my shoulders. I asked for light pressure on my left lower arm. She just wiped her hand down my arm lightly and then that was it! She forgot to massage one of my feet, but I didn't say anything bc I was so close to just interrupting her and being done with the massage. When it was time to flip over she just yanked the pillow out from under my legs (no warning) and then told me to turn over. She didn't hold the sheet up so I could turn over. She kept trying to shove the pillow under my head while I was trying to maneuver my extremely grossly oiled body over onto my back. I told her I didn't want the pillow. Once on my back she still didn't do my shoulders. She massaged my neck and head again. Then spent forever on my feet and not much of the top side of my body. Wtffff?!? There was so much background noise it was so hard to be relaxed with all the noise and the uncomfortableness of the massage. Someone came in the front door and it rang while she was "massaging" my back. Without saying anything she walked out, went to go talk to whoever came in and then came back in. No apologies nothing. She kept working like nothing happened! The noise was the opening and closing of doors, someone washing dishes or a bathtub or something! The lotion was from bath and body works and was SO strong scented. I immediately came home and showered to get the scent and oils off. It was all so distracting I left with a headache! I won't ever be back and can never recommend this place. Unless you want a massage that isn't relaxing and where they using the "poking" and elbows massaging method. They need to up their massage skills, care for customers and etiquette. :( She did leave again (no warning) to get hot stones and a hot towel. She did the hot stones first, just kind of rubbed them mostly on my lower back and neck - missing the rest of my back???? Then used semi warm towel (by the time she used it, it was cold) to wipe down allllllll that nasty oil off my back. She used that SAME towel to wipe down the rest of my body. Which essentially just spread it everywhere by that point. Also if you pay by credit there is a $3 charge. I told her that no one mentioned that when I called asking questions about paying. She thankfully waived it - but here is your warning. 1 star for the candy at the front. 2nd star for waiving the cc use charge. read more

I have been coming to Soul Therapy Massage for over a year every 3 weeks because I have been having issues with my sciatic nerve. my appointment today was anything but therapeutic. The tech made the experience feel rushed and bothersome. she left the room several times, opened the door 4 times while I was exposed on the table to speak to people in the lobby. She failed to use anything resembling a technique when touching me. Honestly it felt like my husband pretending to give me a rushed massage. I felt like she was just oiling my body. It was very unprofessional for her to do that, because my girlfriend wanted a women to message but instead she got a men. I found this little gem of a place on Yelp of course, and I am so glad I did. I cannot believe I didn't get the name of the woman who massaged me but it was truly a great experience. She listened to what I wanted, added her suggestions, and all throughout the massage kept checking in to make sure the pressure was good as she massaged different parts of the body. That is so important to me because some areas I like very hard pressure and others not at all! You can tell she is comfortable in her craft and knows exactly what she is doing. She worked hard on my achy spots and didn't waste time at all like A LOT of places I've been to where they spend more time walking in and out of the room then they do working on you. I also got a same day appointment which is amazing in itself. I will DEFINITELY be going back. When I left the office I passed a man in the parking lot and he said "boy you sure do look relaxed" I said "because I am!" LOL. It was THAT good. Next time I'll get her name too! read more

It had been a long time since my last massage and medium was perfect. I told her of my left shoulder and she worked to relieve the pain -- and she did! Went there for the 2nd tome about a week ago. My therapist was 'Linda' who gave me one of the best massages I have ever had, and I have had a lot. She is very professional and friendly, although had somewhat limited English, which I helped her with during our session. I only hope they keep her around for a long time because I plan to see her regularly.
