Having a lot of check-ins at the dentist probably doesn't reflect well on the current state of my teeth, but if you're not ashamed to check-in at the dentist, it must be because they're doing something right! This is literally the best dentist office I've EVER been to, and I've already lived three decades, so that's saying something. From the moment you walk in the door or talk with the office managers on the phone, you're greeted with warmth and kindness. That congeniality continues in the dentist chair and beyond. Their office is sparkling clean, and the rooms feel comfy without feeling overly sterile. Dr. Peery is my dentist at this office. He is very easy to get along with, has a great sense of humor, and really tries to make the whole dental experience as smooth as possible. He genuinely engages in conversation and explains things clearly. Based on his friendliness and good nature, I can only imagine Dr. Anderson is the same. The dental assistants and hygienists are super nice as well. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth told me to speak up (aka raise my hand) if any part of my teeth cleaning was uncomfortable. I always thought this was just one of those nice things that hygienists say without meaning it, but when the process was slightly uncomfortable, he apologized and lightened the intensity. They are all so responsive and kind. As far as insurances, they take Delta Dental PPO, but they do not take DeltaCare USA (which I unfortunately realized after accidentally selecting the wrong option during open enrollment one year). As far as COVID goes, masks are required in the office, as well as an entry questionnaire. They also spray your hands with sanitizer as you walk in, and the seating in the lobby is clearly marked to maintain social distancing. You are provided with a special mouth rinse prior to your care. Before COVID, they offered a blanket and headphones while you were having procedures done, which was such a nice touch. I think they also used to have a Keurig machine in the lobby. My appointments have all been very timely, with no long waits after arriving. The parking lot is spacious, as they are located within a large building of medical offices. I'd highly, highly, highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for great care with exceptional customer service! read more

I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist and had experienced some not so great dental moments in the past which made me drag my feet on finding a new dentist in my network. A broken crown forced me to move quickly to find someone. I had heard great things about Dr. Anderson in the past, but running into a neighbor that was actually sad that all her (many) dental issues were taken care of and that she actually missed going to the dentist, sealed the deal. I finished our conversation and immediately called Dr. Anderson's office. I saw Dr. Peery, as my friend had commented on how wonderful his work was and that she couldn't recommend him highly enough. I have been going to Dr. Anderson for years. She is thorough and lovely and I have been very pleased with my experience. However, when my 9 year old son had a terrible experience with a pediatric dentist, my appreciation for Dr. Anderson deepened tremendously. I spoke with her about the situation and she recommended that I bring my son to her. I could not be more pleased that I did. My son was anxious about seeing a dentist after his last experience. She was the only one who worked on his teeth. She let him get comfortable and answered his questions patiently and compassionately. He left happy. When we got home, my son said, "Who knew that you could actually want to go see a dentist!?" Really. For now, I am rating this dental office a 3 stars because of the following as stated. I really like my new dentist Dr. Perry. However, I don't know if he and his business partner, Dr. Anderson knows that one of their front desk receptionist, Katheryn, I think that's her name? She's not very friendly & a liar! I had a couple of fillings done with Dr. Perry almost couple months ago. He told me to call if I was having problems, so, I did and spoke with that receptionist. Unfortunately, it was a Friday and Dr. Perry was not in the office. That receptionist went through the trouble asking me for details and I provided her, then she said she'd check in with Dr. Perry and would get back to me but she NEVER did! Today(3/7) I called back and asked to speak with Dr. Perry again, unfortunately, she answered the phone again, and I specifically requested that she relayed message to Dr. Perry so that he could give me a call back. This receptionist asked for my call back number, I provided and now let's see if she actually will let Dr. Perry know that I needed to talk to him? I left one dental office because of poor customer service and now I feel like this receptionist is not helping this dental office in providing good customer care. This is kind of sad because she's probably NOT happy in her role with being front desk receptionist??? Who knows? There are many competent dentists in our area, but when I read reviews on Dr. Anderson and Dr. Peery, I felt compelled to give them a try. Awesome move on my part! From the initial phone call with Kathryn to walk me through the registration process and schedule appointments, I felt truly recognized and respected. Professional and personable people as the first point of contact are a valuable asset to any business. And our appointments simply sealed the deal! This office is so thorough; they have thought of everything for patient care. My husband was seen by Dr. Peery, and I was seen by Dr. Anderson. Our blood pressure was checked, mouth cancer screening, dark glasses offered to offset the bright lights, lip balm, even bottled water if you like! The office vibe is so friendly, and you can sense that these are individuals who enjoy their work and their colleagues. During my initial examination, I expressed a desire to get Invisalign braces to correct my front teeth. I am a senior citizen; the treatment would not be covered by my insurance, but I was willing to pay for it. I estimate it would have cost about $5000, and other dentists would not have hesitated to honor my request. Dr. Anderson did a complete evaluation and dental molds; her assessment was so surprisingly candid I could not believe it. In my particular situation, it was her advice not to consider this type of treatment. Wow!! In addition, I tend to have some anxiety with dental visits in general, and she even has a wonderful little comfort dog upon request. My husband was seen by Dr. Peery, and was likewise pleased with his "chairside manner" and with his treatment plan recommendations. I have a lot of dental fear & anxiety from bad dental experiences in the past and because of that, I have avoided dentists like the plague for the past 6 years or so. As you can imagine, a tooth started to hurt so I asked around and a colleague highly recommended Dr Anderson. She made me feel at ease during my first appointment with her - she did a thorough exam and showed me pictures of my teeth with a detailed explanation of what was going on. Together WE came up with a dental plan that I felt comfortable with. No pressure. Her office is all about "relax" and making the experience as pleasant as possible...from kind and courteous staff to state of the art equipment to Bose headphones to "laughing gas" to oral conscious sedation for more invasive procedures. Parents of college students beware! My child attends UC Davis and wished to have dental work performed and unfortunately chose this office. As a full time student she is very mindful of money. She asked how much each appointment and procedure would cost. They told her that the first appointment/eval is free based on insurance coverage. They told her she needed to make an additional appointment for further treatment, she did. She was to return for a cleaning and a cavity all to be handled in one appointment. She had an emergency arise and missed her 2nd appointment. She did not provide them appropriate cancellation notification. When she called to reschedule they told her they screwed up the billing on the first appointment and she owes $82 and she owes an additional $150 for two missed appointments at $75 a piece! She had 1 appointment for cleaning and a cavity and they charged her for two. Her follow up phone call resulted in them threatening her with collection. Needless to say it was a very bad experience for us. They have no problem exploiting the naivety of young college students. read more

She is incredibly thorough, and while she sometimes recommends more treatment than I'm willing to try, she always gives me alternatives and answers all of my questions, and I don't feel undue pressure to have anything done that I'm not ready for.
