Lance from Lance's Computer Repair from Hermantown, MN does Good work, has excellent working knowledge of windows operating systems and I highly recommend him to anyone having computer problems. Why? Because he cleaned up my Desktop Computer of a Fake FBI Hack from my computer, discovered my video card fan stopped working, cpu was over heating cause of old temp paste and hard drive was lagging hard even aftyer fresh in stall of Windows, so I agreed to have it replaced as well for a total cost of $155 plus recommended me to get a new mouse and where to get a good one myself, which I did do later that evening. All I know how to do is press power button, click with mouse and type things down when messaging friends and family. If those things dont work, I howller for help. I Lance did a great job saving my files 4 weeks ago when repairing my Windows 7 Operating System. Today the monitor would not wake up and within 15 minutes Lance got it working again. They confused the passcodes so they were unable to even start and yet they didn't bother to contact me for clarification. No call for 5 hrs. I called to check on the progress and was able to give them the code (again). Next day...no call. I called at 1:30 and was told it would be ready in 1 hr, maximum 2 hrs. .... 3 hrs later, no call and approaching closing time ...I go there. They had done nothing because they didn't have the iCloud pssscode.......again, no effort to contact me for that information. I took my phones and left. 2 DAYS wasted. Not sure if they can competently repair phones...... they don't competently run their business .

My laptop gave me a message that the cooling fan wasn't working and there would be dire…read moreconsequences if I ignored the issue. This has happened before with HP laptops so I took it in right away. The price to start (look at the laptop) was $100 + tax. They had it for one day and called to say that the fan was dirty and that I didn't need a new one so they cleaned the fan. That is all fine but they did nothing else for the $100. I would have expected them to at least clean the screen, dust off the keyboard etc. They need some flexibility in their pricing in order to make it fair.
