This is long, so I apologize for the length, but it is as brief as I could be. Let me start by saying I hired an attorney for $20,000 3 months before I met Joseph that didn't do shit for me (I apologize for my language, but this is honest and raw) So before my case even started I had lost $20,000. I then spent much more in consultations with three other attorneys after that experience. Not a positive start. When I called Joseph Land I had an initial consultation with him (no charge) and he Took His Time With Me on that call (this is important). At first, I thought he took his time with me because he understood that I had three months of a very negative experience but now, a year later, I understand that he took his time with me on that call because that's who he is. He also advised me as to what to do to get a $20,000 refund from a previous attorney that I had hired that did nothing. He told me exactly what to say in an email. I said those things and that attorney told me in his 20 years of practice that no one has ever received a full refund and that day I received a $20,000 refund. I'm going to do you a solid and tell you that attorney's name was Feinberg and Waller (you don't have to take my word for it just read their crappy reviews). Keep In Mind this is before even paying Joseph Land and acquiring his services. This is time and work he put forth for me for FREE that had paid off in in full in 48 hours. When does this ever happen? I mean take that in for a minute... This attorney, for no money, got my $20,000 back for me in two days. So obviously now I have money to retain his services which was an absolute no-brainer. I had a very difficult divorce case in which I discovered my ex-spouse had omitted assets from 15 years ago. He and his team worked extremely hard to make sure there was no stone unturned and because of this I actually ended up receiving half of my retirement; which is unbelievably impressive due to the fact that this divorce happened 15 years ago. To go through any type of situation where you need to be legally represented is very emotionally taxing and expensive; but Joseph and his team were not only gentle and flexible with their billing, they were completely kind, empathetic, honest about outcomes and I felt like I was there only client (that's the type of care I received). I can't imagine how many clients they have and I didn't ask, but I never had to wait for a reply I'll tell you that and I never had to wonder if they had my best interest in mind. One very important thing that I have learned with being involved in a court case is that it is extremely important to have an amazing writer representing you in any paperwork submitted to the court because at the end of the day it's about who can present the most compelling argument. I have said it before to their team but Alexandria is a verbal wizard. This woman is a creative writing genius. She is a quick thinker, an elegant well spoken attorney in front of the judge and a warrior at heart. We were sitting in front of the judge and I gave her a look and she knew exactly what I was thinking about and said "I know". A highly intuitive, been around the block, one step ahead attorney Joseph, Alexandria, and Cristina are all people I consider at the top of their game and from someone who has spent a considerable amount of money on consultation calls with other attorneys there is no doubt in my mind that if I ever need legal representation, I am so happy to know that I have them in my back pocket. I'm writing this review because I know there is someone out there that is reading reviews just like I did, trying to find the best attorney out there that's not going to take advantage of them, that's doesn't cost an arm and a leg, that's going to understand their situation and fight for their justice. Listen, I understand where you are right now and it's beyond hard! I hope that you at least spend a little bit of time on the phone with Joseph for a consultation because if my current self could speak to my past self, this is exactly what I would be saying. I dont know where to start. Joseph was phenomenal throughout my process. The worst day of my life happened when I received a restraining order notice on my door for my child and her mother. I had no idea how to handle the situation or what to feel when it happened, I was completely lost. Also, he still text me at times and gives me advice and is always there to help me when needed, without asking for money like a lot of other lawyers would. I would recommend this lawyer to anyone. The only bad thing I would say about him is that he is a Michigan football fan unfortunately and I hate Michigan. But that's okay, he can't help it.
