That and the fact that botanical gardens are just gosh-dang beautiful. The park closes a little early in the evening, so I didn't have much time to explore before needing to clear out unfortunately. There is a part of the garden featuring hops and beer-helping plants. Loads of paths, lots of greenery...you can't go wrong. In the center of the park is the Palm House, which is spectacular to look at from the outside. It costs extra to go in, and I was at the end of my budget so I didn't get to go inside to see the exotic and tropical plants. If you like walking around in nature and looking at pretty things, you should come to the Botanisk Have. Also then you are close to the national art and geology museums...three birds (attractions) and one transit stop! Worth a stroll through!

Swans, ducks, geese, pigeons, and seagulls were found in many places.There was an area for kids with many young families gathered for some special event the night we were there. At another part of the park, it looked like people were arriving for a concert of some kind later that night. There were a lot of people enjoying the park, but it never felt overwhelmingly crowded, as the park is so big. If I lived in Copenhagen, this park would be a regular for me.

I think it's such a nice touch to this empty space that was left empty for 7 years after the revolutionary fight and demolition of the building that once stood there. This garden even has a Facebook group where you can see events that are happening there and see when you can go and help with something. Children are happy about this small growing green area and have also helped in the making! It's such a random little garden you should take a look at! These things are only in Copenhagen! Oh! And the mayor has backed finally up this activity and made it legal!

Grand, simple & elegant garden. The inside was just amazing from room after room, from one level to the next and you got to down into the jewel in the basement for the grand jewels plus others.
