This Hertz is located in the Riverton WY Airport, and has to be one of the worst car rental…read moreexperiences I've ever encountered. The Airport they are in only has one gate, very few flights coming or going. However, this Hertz branch leaves before last flights arrive or leave. It is impossible to obtain a car. When I did return the next morning.....they would not accept debit cards the same day a car reservation was made. I had to make the reservation and return the next morning. Mind you I was only there 5 days, leaving on the 5th morning. Upon returning I had to agree to a credit check. They charged me for 3 full days even though the car was being returned on the 3rd day at 6:00 am. Total charge $508.47. Save yourself time, aggravation and lots of money; and go with an alternate form of transportation. I took a cab (Gater Creek) to and from the airport, and quite frankly, it would have been cheaper to continue on with the cab company.

Also, the Hertz office in the terminal is rarely staffed to even help you with a reservation. Very poor service and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Jims Aircraft right next door has rentals and exceptional service. If you are in need of a rental, go there instead.
