First I want to say my dealings were with the Welland office but this is the only site which…read moreappeared. I ordered a grave marker for an infant September 2016 and was told it would be ready in the spring. Come spring no marker....I called told it would not be ready until June....really they already had 8 months....Anyway marker appeared end of May by miracle. It was a total piece of junk. The last name has two "O"s which were drilled deep about an inch (could stand a pencil up in the hole). The bottom was rocks encased in cement not granite. I emailed the office because I could get no one on the telephone for two days. I went to the office and was advised email was received and rep told me I could get a new marker even bigger than what I ordered and she would meet me at the grave site that day after work. Well the story sure changed from the morning. Unfortunately the marker had been installed in the ground that day and she could not see the stones but advised that it was all granite which it was not. In the meantime two large round pieces of cement( suppose to be granite I think) were placed over the two holes in the name. Why were the holes there in the first place? Visit any graveyard and you will not see a flat marker anywhere with holes drilled in it. In the holes the material was white like cement or plaster...it was not granite. On the top a symbol of a rattle was carved but it was not colour ...it was gray cement not granite. At this point I was totally disgusted because nothing was going to be done and I was left with this piece of junk. It looked like something anyone could have produced in their backyard not what was suppose to be a professional business. I just don't want anyone else to have to go through a situation as upsetting as this one was for me. So if you find yourself in this situation.....and if you choose to deal with this business. I want to caution you to make sure the materials are listed on your contract and size etc. All the details...my contract just noted marker... All the details in specific and you won't be duped like I was. Also ask to see a sample of what your getting so you have proof of what the marker is suppose to be. Get as much information in writing as you can. Then you will have documentation to support your concern. I ordered the marker in good faith thinking I would get a marker which would look like all the others I have seen in graveyards. It is very upsetting that I am stuck with this marker and my only solution is to go somewhere else and start all over again.

This contractor quoted a drywall job, failed to complete it, and failed to hire anyone else in to finish it, and so left us hanging. He requested a deposit, then asked for even more money in order to finish the job so we gave him all he asked. He jerked us around for 3 weeks saying he would get it done but never did. After a while he told us that he was not able to do the job due to a personal issue. We asked for a refund for the money that was given as the work did not get done. It took weeks of negotiations in order to get anything back. The amount we received back was not even close to fair. Overall, this contractor is a professional scam artist, the small amount of work that he did do at our house was mediocre at best, we would never recommend him to anyone.

John presented himself as a knowledgeable and trustworthy individual so, we had him sign a contract to do the work. We gave a deposit of approx $20k when we signed contract in cash and an additional approx $20k on start of job. The overall job was contracted for approx $77k and to be done in approx 8-12 weeks. He started showing up and working but missed time almost immediately. It would be generous if I say the overall time he actually worked was around 50 hours. We noticed over time that things were not progressing as discussed yet, John asked for more money. We paid him but still noticed work wasn't getting done and he asked for more money. After paying again, we noticed he wasn't showing up at all after being reassured, time and time again. Chantelle and my wife had a conversation where Chantelle indicated that her husband John was going to a treatment facility that was scheduled prior to commencement. Had we known this, we would have never contracted them to do this job. We are out alot of money,($10's of thousands) and had to hire a reputable company to fix his mistakes and complete our job and now we have filed a lawsuit against them and Belmore Contracting. Alot more to mention but due to pending investigation and litigation ,we must not comment further. I needed to make others aware to be careful.
