This is my sixth rebate over the years, all different distributers, I've always had to fight to get the rebate after meticulous submission. It may be Grey goose, Kim Crawford, Jim Beam or others... By now, yup, I should have learned my lesson. However, Current issue is KIM CRAWFORD $48.00 REBATE ON A CASE OF Kim Crawford is calling me ineligible for purchasing a case and is refusing to send the rebate. GREY GOOSE, which also hasn't paid their rebate of $21.00 on 3 bottles since August, had to be called multiple times, said "we are reviewing". In the times we live in, these are unacceptable business practices. This local area kept Bottle Buys business afloat during the pandemic. If they're not keeping their word, or holding their distributers and rebate centers accountable, why bother doing business there. Village liquor store…read more So- a new place opened a week back in the village and they do not have that coveted liquor license yet. Marquis is the benefactor of that! The selection is good, but it is a small place so what they have is still pretty good considering the size of the place. The prices are a little steep - but so is most everything else up here. Knowledgeable guy behind the counter - gets you in and out in a jiff. Parking on the street.

The atmosphere is relaxed and one feels like they're in a library of bottles. It's very clean and organized. This venue offers tasting courses which are fun and informative. I've treated my fiancé to a whiskey/bourbon course, and he has treated me to a tequila course. We were each other's designated drivers. The courses come with snacks to nosh on that are appropriately aligned with the booze being served. We'd like to go back and try some other experiences as well as share it with our family and friends. Definitely worth a visit. Happy shops & sips!
