    I was looking for palm trees. They have a variety of palm trees as well as other trees, flowers, shrubs, etc. The young man who works there was very helpful and helped me load up the palm tree that I purchased. I'm glad I stopped by.

    My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with these people. We bought quite a few trees from them and scheduled to have them come to do the install. We kept being put off for the install and delivery and then when they finally did come a few of the trees were already rough looking. When we spoke to the owner to address the situation he was very nice around other customers but very condescending when no one else was around. We were constantly ignored or put off. They finally agreed to replace one of the dying trees but replaced it with a tree that was half the price and refused to compensate for the cost. They are very rude and deliver less than perfect trees for a big price. When we asked to have them replace the trees that are dying they absolutely refused and are now threatening to take us to court and put a lien on our house. I would never recommend doing business with them to even my worst enemy!

Shockingly, within the first two minutes of the call, John accused me of attempting insurance fraud and claimed that by leaving this review I was "playing dirty." He initially said he had reviewed the surveillance footage, but after I asked questions to clarify, he admitted he hadn't actually seen it--instead relying solely on what his client told him. John also stated that the owner of Gladiator Sod "would have just paid me out of pocket" for the damage of the trailer, which is strange considering no one from Gladiator Sod has ever contacted me directly--not even once--except for a vague BBB response weeks later. This situation has been nothing short of a nightmare: * My property was damaged on their premises. * I received no response until I escalated it to state agencies. * When contact was finally made, I was accused of fraud without any real investigation. If I were trying to commit fraud, would I have posted all of this publicly, pursued formal complaints, or requested insurance contact details from day one? Absolutely not. This company has shown a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer respect. I will continue to pursue this matter further--not only because of the damage, but now because of the personal and baseless accusations made against me. UPDATE to business response: Thank you for your response. However, I must clarify several key facts: 1. This is not the first you are hearing about this. I made two separate attempts to contact your business directly prior to posting this review. In addition, I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. To imply this is a surprise undermines the efforts already made to resolve this issue privately and professionally. 2. The damage to my trailer was not present before the visit to your facility. I have reviewed surveillance footage from multiple angles on my personal property before departure and upon return, which clearly confirms the condition of the trailer changed immediately after the visit. 3. The assertion that "anything could have happened in the 5 days" is misleading. The damage was observed and documented upon immediate return--not five days later. The timeline and circumstances clearly indicate the damage occurred during loading on your premises. 4. Florida Statute 627.4137 legally requires a business to provide insurance carrier information upon request after an incident of this nature. Your refusal to provide your insurance information is a direct violation of this statute. I am again formally requesting your insurance provider's contact details so this matter can be addressed appropriately. I am still open to resolving this without escalation, but I will not hesitate to take the necessary legal steps if my request continues to be ignored. Your cooperation and compliance with Florida law would be the most professional course of action moving forward. Govern yourself accordingly. ---- On June 28, 2025, I visited your facility and purchased 1.5 pallets of sod. During the loading process, your employee caused damage to my trailer. I have reviewed surveillance footage from multiple cameras at my residence which clearly shows the trailer was free of any damage prior to departure. Upon return from your facility, the damage is evident. Based on the timing and circumstances, it is reasonable to conclude that the damage occurred on your premises and as a result of your employee's handling. As such, I am requesting the contact information for your insurance provider so that this matter can be formally addressed and resolved. She tried to cancel the order, and was not given the option. She texted the vendor, Joseph Herbert, and asked to cancel. Despite the fact that he advertises "gladly accept cancellations", he ignored the request and refused to respond to my wife's repeated attempts to contact him. When the order arrived, she refused delivery and had it sent back. Mr. Herbert's response was to send a hostile email to her, accusing her of "killing the plant" and "not caring about living beings". Interestingly, he acknowledged in this same email that my wife had indeed tried to cancel the order, but still refused to refund. Horrible customer service and belligerent attitude. We will not make the mistake of using the vendor again and will advise others to follow suit.

The plant I got was only 1.5 inches tall and 4 big leaves were broken off in the box. It did not look very good. I feel I was highly overcharged for such a tiny plant. I contacted them, and they said that it all depends on what they are when they pick them up from the grower. That's fine, just don't say that they are 3-5 inches tall when they aren't. A couple days later some bottom leaves started shriveling up. I asked if they had a plant guarantee because the plant did not look so healthy, and they told me no. They don't offer refunds. They think I over watered it and wanted to kill it on purpose to get a refund. Definitely not true. I watered it when I received it because it was in transit for multiple days. Never shopping here again. It also comes with a paper saying to spray it with fungicide because it most likely has a fungus! I have never had any issues with buying plants online until I came here. All the plants I buy elsewhere always come perfectly healthy! Customer service was not very friendly either. UPDATE 9/23/2019: The plant is now completely dead. $35 down the drain.

I purchased a large magnolia tree from them and she bloomed two years in a row and then she hadn't bloomed in two years so I called them and they told me exactly what to do and I did it and within four months my magnolia was blooming beautifully. Most all of my flowering plants, my trees, my shrubs my fruit trees are purchased from Canterbury because they just have quality plants that produce. There are company that knows what they're doing and they take care of their customers. When you enter into the office, they have all kinds of goodies, jellies, jams gifts, and souvenirs and you're always greeted by someone with a smiling face and someone who is very happy to see you and to take care of you. I needed a specific plant identified and I brought a piece of it in and immediately the gentleman I was dealing with told me exactly what it was how it's going to grow and how to take care of it. I had an insect problem I took them a piece of the plant that had the insect problem. They immediately knew exactly what was wrong and told me what to use and I had no problems anymore. I trust them more than I do any of the big box stores. In fact, I'll only buy my vegetables and my vegetable plants from Canterbury Farms. They were very honest company and anytime you look at their plants. They're all clean and weed free and very well taken care of. I've gone to big box stores and see dead plants on display or for sale. It's like big box stores don't care how they display things. But Canterbury farms cares and they're set up is beautiful. They have plenty of parking. Their entrance is accessible by wheelchair or cart. The kids love to go there sometimes they have on Saturdays vendors that come and sell their vegetables and fruits and whatever's in season. They also have classes to help you learn about the plants that you have in your yard and how to take care of them. They'll educate you on fertilization watering and proper practices to keep your plants, healthy, and alive. I highly recommend buying all of your plants from Canterbury farms.

Called warranty department and they sent a link to schedule appointment, I received a confirmation for an 8am-12pm appointment. At 8am received a message that they cannot make it until between 12pm-5pm. They showed up between 2pm - 2:30pm and said its the main frame board and it will take them 5-7 days to get the part. So Lowes at Ridge and Little is refusing to replace it even though its still under warranty and the warranty department does not care about a family 4 going without a Frig for 5-7 days. Lowes truly do NOT care about their Customers!!!!!!!!!!
