It's nearly impossible to find this kind of service in today's world. - We had a way overgrown bunch of foundation plantings so big that the painters weren't sure how to place their ladders. Northeast came in with heavy machines and in three days removed the bushes roots and all and replaced them with elegant little boxwoods and rhodies. All with everything restored to better than normal around the house. - Our lawn had developed some really ugly dead patches which seemed to be growing larger over a two year period. The lawn chemical service we had just wasn't working. Will Parris from Northeast came over, diagnosed fungus, did a treatment and restorative aeration, compost and overseed. The results were spectacular - the lawn is better than it ever was! - They've been mowing our lawn all summer very dependably and professionally. I had been mowing too short, probably part of the dead patch problem. The mowers were careful with the reseeding and were adept at handling the peculiarities of our property layout. - Our leaves haven't fallen yet and it's Thanksgiving. They're going to hold off on the Fall cleanup until early December to accomodate this. In short, highly recommended. They do not communicate via email well. While spraying my property I watched the person spray my deck and blow things on my deck over. I didn't REALLY expect him to upright them, but I feel like almost anyone would pause for an instant. This guy didn't even flinch. Just kept spraying. That's the level of attention you can expect here.

I worked with James from Heritage Landscaping to completely renovate our front yard. Now that the…read morework has been completed, I ultimately regret my decision to go with them over other landscaping companies. I have never left a review for anything online before, but feel as though I have to after the experience I had with Heritage. This was not a small or cheap project and I feel as though I deserved a much higher level of work upon completion. Although there were certain things that were done well (pathway and sprinkler system that were contracted out to third parties), the landscaping itself left a lot to be desired. Here is a list of the issues that I experienced: 1. They did not edge any of the mulch beds. 2. The mulch they laid down was not laid evenly along the pathway. 3. When they reseeded the lawn, they planted seed on all of the mulch beds and I now have grass growing though my mulch beds. Furthermore, there are still parts of the grass that never grew. 4. They agreed to remove a small tree and they were unable to remove the stump. I now have to reach out to a tree removal company to grind it down. 5. When the irrigation company came to install the system, there was no plan to have the system water the newly planted plants along the house and pathway. The irrigation company installed a drip system anyways after I spoke up. In fairness, James and his team did cover the cost of the drip system once it was installed. The most disappointing part of my whole experience is that I texted James about some of issues that I thought could be remedied a few days ago, specifically the mulch beds and how bad it looks. However, he has not responded to me.
