I Bought my place 12/21. December 2022, called Mike Lane who put the original pump on the property in 2010. Pump quit working and I had no water use for almost 36 hours. Mike comes out and states I need a new pump and it will be $6250. I question this as it sounded high. HE states he has been in business for decades and this IS the going rate. Being new to the area-I trusted him and he put the pump in. When I asked for an invoice and warranty he stated he didn't have them but will mail them to me. He never did-even after I called. No water again 1/24. I call him back as he had said there was a 2 year manufacturer warranty on the pump. He comes out again and states this was a power surge and that is an Act of God (look up Acts of God-NO power surges on the list anywhere). He also said his warranty is only one year. (Never did send me the original warranty or invoice). I had the electrical redone 6/23 so new breaker box and breakers that work properly. Contractor came back out and stated there was no power surge. Contractor also stated Mike didn't even bother grounding this second pump. Mike put in the second pump and charged me $3500. (Stated he was giving me a break). I spoke with my sprinkler guy and he spoke to Mike. Mike couldn't tell him where he is getting his pumps from. Just stated "here and there". Again no warranty or invoice when he was done and he tore up my lawn with his truck and never came back to fix it. Sprinkler guy calls other pump people and we have 3 way calls. They all say I have now been ripped off twice. I should stop payment on the check. I run to the bank and he had run in and cashed the check ASAP. The bank says they couldn't help. I have called him about the invoices and warranties and he has not sent anything OR come to fix the lawn. Two other pump companies have advised me I was overcharged by $5500 on both visits. our well broke and I called them on a Sunday evening and they came out first thing Monday morning and had us up and running quickly. Provided excellent customer service and very nice. We feel the pricing is fair and appreciated the qui response. read more

They installed our well previously. When building a new house the builder asked for a letter of certification. I was told to call back a number of times because they were in the middle of working. When I finally explained what I needed I was told to call back the day I wanted him to come out. Finally that morning he said he would rather bow out and not do the work. He also preferred speaking to the man of the house. Very frustrating. read more

Tried to charge 1200 for a new well on a 200 job from a wire being cut on it. In my opinion, this man is a con artist. Told me he was going to install a well before he even came to the property. I had called him before on a stopped up toilet. He uncapped a line under the house, found later, raw sewage by the Termite guy. Proceeded to take 2 minutes to suck out a septic tank when his face and his helpers face showed nothing was in it to suck out, but money is money right. Whole house had flu, paid him anyhow. Accidentally called him thinking he was Johnny's boy and remembered who he was by his remembrance of us being sick that day. Thought every one deserves a second chance of redeeming grace....read that Bible again Mr. Lane...and be fortunate that I didn't take you to court. In my opinion, he is a dishonest man. I bought well from and got a 1 year warranty. the well broke at 11months and they refused to come fix it. BEWARE!

They do not stand behind their warranty. They are very unprofessional and rude. They are not a "poor man's friend" they will make you poor by not standing behind their warranty and you'll be forced to find someone else to fix your septic or water when it breaks. I have absolutely nothing good to say about their service since they're not men of their word. Be warned. read more
