Great Christian based and honest business. If you are building and need a septic tank, call Jacob!

(Lengthy review incoming- but I'm elite for a reason!) We've had one of those years where all the…read morebig expense items happen- car accidents, ER visits, car problems, and eventually septic issues. We weren't aware when we purchased our house that it was on septic (happens with an as-is purchase) and found out after doing a good bit of landscaping. We decided to leave the tank be until something happened and sure enough a few months later after some heavy rain we found the original concrete tank had started collapsing in on itself forming a small sinkhole (aka toddler death trap in my toddler's favorite place to play). In a tizzy we called multiple septic companies to get an idea of how long it would last before the whole system failed and to get quotes on replacing the tank and drain field. Sandhills were some of the first to come out that same day to look at it. Other companies couldn't come by for another day or two. From the start I appreciated their quick response to help calm nerves when other companies weren't as rushed to help. I did end up getting quotes from 3-4 other main companies around and ultimately we went with Sandhills for a few reasons but the biggest one was they were the only ones who were willing to work around our wild garden situation and try their best not to kill things. The other companies were a lot less willing to work with us on that and also were very pushy about doing things "their way", which just didn't allow for much as far as saving our plants went. The quote we got from Sandhills was a little higher than the other companies but we chose them for their willingness to work around plants and their professionalism. They weren't able to fit us in for about 3 weeks, which stressed me out with a septic tank on the fritz and company visiting us and a toddler all while being pregnant, but thankfully the tank lasted and we didn't have to resort to another company. I do think they'd have done their best to move us up if the system totally failed but they are also busy so it just worked out in the end and I'm thankful for that. Rodney and Deshon were very nice and worked hard during the two days it took to replace the septic tank and redo all the drain field, and also demolish the old tank so it wouldn't be a sinkhole anymore. He even had his son out working (summer job I guess!) which sped things up. A few things were unexpected for them like a lot of groundwater filling the hole before placing the tank but my toddler and I were out there watching a lot of the work (excavators are pretty cool, and I'm a soil scientist who loves to see some redox features) and at no point did I hear any complaining about that delaying them or the heat or anything. I've worked manual labor jobs before and am prone to complaining about things like that so I noticed and appreciated that. They also didn't up the final cost due to those delays and I thought that was a possibility; given our year I'm thankful they didn't! Overall I can't recommend them enough and am very glad the stars aligned for us to hire them. Nearly all plants survived the chaos and I am finally not stressed out about our septic tank.

We called that morning and a representative was on site that afternoon. He told us what needed to done(his part and ours). As promised, they called us to make an appointment. When they showed up, they went right to work. Finished on time, did what they said they would do, charged exactly what they said they would. Integrity in business is a rarity in this day. I highly recommend this business.

Wow, good for the bad vendors that they have figured that out... They told me they would refund me the $1K I paid for the removal of the defective pump under the 1 year warranty, plus the $600 I paid for the crappy little well cover the "gave me" for $600. THEY DID NOT. And apparently took my post down, nice that they figured that out, they should show other business's how to do that and make some more $$. Really just means don't trust the reviews on Yelp/etc. They asked me to take my original post down if they paid me back on, they didn't pay me back and somehow they got my original post down. Original post below: Worst Service and Quality I have Ever Encountered. Bought a new build with a well in Jan 2026. 7 months of well guys (Sharpe's) and plumbers as as of Aug 2026 I had low water pressure in 5 bedroom/3 bath house. Couldn't take a shower and flush a toilet anywhere without the shower turning off. Sharpe's said the well was fine. Plumber blamed the well guys. After 7 months the pump stopped working. Sharpe's replaced under "warranty" and then charged me $1000 to pull the bad pump and put a new one in. Low and behold the water pressure now is normal and you can flush a toilet while a shower is running and it does not shut off....As well I had built a pump house over the well as it was 6'x4' wide (huge and couldn't use the usual rock cover). I had to cut it apart for over $3500 between the well house and the demolition. They replaced it with a super small "wart" cover and also charged me $600 for that. DONT GET A HOUSE WITH WELL FROM SHARPE'S!!! Any no-one will pay. Except YOU. And anyone who wants the invoices and the 8 pages of emails from the last 7 months, I'd be happy to provide.
