    Review for TGM Oceana…read more I lived at this property and would never recommend it to anyone. The apartment had multiple leaks from sources outside my unit. One leak came from the apartment above me. Another came from building plumbing. My bedroom became unusable for a period of time. Management knew about the issues. They performed dry out work. They never offered reimbursement. They never offered alternative accommodations. During my tenancy, the building had German cockroaches. This was not an occasional issue. It was an infestation. I previously worked in the pest control industry. German cockroaches indicate a systemic building problem. Standard treatments do not solve this without aggressive, coordinated remediation. Management failed to address the root cause. When I moved out, I returned the apartment clean. Floors were clean. Bathrooms were clean. Walls were clean. Carpets were in good condition. No move out inspection was done. After move out, management sent me charges anyway. They billed me for cleaning an apartment that was already clean. They billed me for carpet cleaning despite no damage. They billed me for additional utilities that I did not consume and had already paid monthly. There was no security deposit. Instead of closing the account properly, they attempted to manufacture charges after the fact. This property shows a pattern. Poor maintenance. Poor pest control. Poor tenant treatment. Aggressive and unjustified billing after move out. If you value basic habitability, fair treatment, and professional management, look elsewhere.

I had researched many properties management companies online in the Fort Lauderdale area. I happened to come across Icon Realty Management and Brokerage. After reading the great reviews and my conversation with Ben and finally meeting him at the property. I decided to have them manage my property. Within 2 days of Icon Realty having the property in their listings, it was rented on day 2 (two). Ben, At Icon Realty has truly been professional and responsive thought the whole process. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

Steve was fantastic in helping me identify not only what was in my budget, but also, what would be the best fit for me and my future. Steve was incredibly patient and caring as we navigated through one of the most stressful parts of life (purchasing my first home). As a single young female I was unaware of what to look and check for when touring new properties , and I felt confident with Steve by my side. He knew exactly what questions to ask what plumbing or HVAC closets to inspect. Regardless of the volatile housing market we're in, Steve and his team were able to find me my perfect first home. I was out of state for closing day and Steve was able to help execute a mobile notary through the title agency he has a personal relationship with to make for a smooth closing (even out of state) Upon my arrival back in town Steve greeted me with a warm hug and along with all my new house keys and paperwork.... And even checked my air filter knowing I wouldn't have looked at it yet :) In conclusion, without the help of Steve and the rest of the Local Real Estate Co. I would have had a far less pleasant experience buying my first home. I am so very thankful for them! Cheers to Local Real Estate Co! Cole was patient with us through out the whole process as we were first time home buyers. He explained the in's and out's of the whole process and trust me, there's a lot to learn and many aspects to it. If you want a realtor who is knowledgeable, knows S. FL, is highly competitive and is available nearly all around the clock, then you need to speak with Cole. He's available through text or phone calls, and will find out the answer to any questions you may have. As soon as we found the right one, Cole worked hard and secured the house for us, even though other buyers were actively interested. The closing process was a breeze and Cole was there every step of the way, we never felt alone or lost with him by our side. Even after closing, we know he's there to help us with anything we need. That's about it - Happy house hunting!
