I had to call to see if it was delivered to the dealership, I spoke to the owner who told me he would call me this week to set-up the delivery. I finally called him Wednesday, 7/14/21 to see what was going on. Mind you he told me he would call me. I've been calling all week and finally reached him on 7/14. He told me he needed to deliver it before 5pm on 7/15. I told him fine no one would be home so I would take a half day and call 30 minutes before I got home. I called 90 minutes ahead of time. Spoke to some person who didn't identify himself, which was the same professionalism I got every time I called previously. They couldn't find him which has been the same for the last week and a half. He finally showed up at 7pm. I told him to unload it, I wasn't happy with the lack of communication and professionalism. I made it clear and told him I wasn't happy. He jumped out of the truck with an attitude and told me to sign for it. I told him I would sign for it after I looked it over. That sent him over the top. I told him to leave and take the lawn mover with him. Then he started calling me names and told me I lived in the boondocks. I told him to leave he was trespassing and he accused me of threatening an old man...I'm an old man so I thought that was funny. I told my wife to call 911 because he was trespassing and his response was to tear up my driveway. ZERO STARS!!!

After a quick 20 minute look, the technician concluded, "Yeah, you need a new motor..." As an engineer, I found the assessment incomplete; there was no access to the motor, no terminal isolation, no resistance checks on the windings, and no inspection of the blower wheel. I mentioned I was getting the E65 error code, which manufacturer documentation links to a high limit thermostat trip, yet there was no check for restricted airflow, clogged venting, a faulty heating element, or a blown thermal fuse. Just a blanket statement that the motor needed replacement. Providing additional information to the techs is just irrelevant, I guess. I hired a professional because I don't have time to do the diagnostics myself. After paying $110 for the visit, I was quoted nearly $1,000 to replace the motor--and contrary to what their website states, the $110 was not applied toward a possible repair. Very disappointing.
