The guy working behind the counter was pleasant and knowledgeable about their coffee offering which comes from Homestead Coffee Roasters of Upper Black Eddy. Their drink menu consists of hot/cold coffee, tea, lattes, and espresso based drinks. I tried the drip coffee and would highly recommend it. It is a private label version of Homesteads Darkness - dark & bold with notes of rich, smokey chocolate. I enjoyed the dark roast, rich chocolate and its bold full body. The cortado and espresso I had were ok. I found them to be a little too bitter, but there was a strong roasted earthiness flavor that I liked. On a return trip I'll have to try their Vietnamese coffee. Food wise I've had the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They are simple and decent sized with simple folded egg patties and cheddar cheese on average bagels. The sausage had a little spicy kick and the bacon was pretty tasty (NOTE: they do offer pork roll as an option). I was given some hot sauce packets to go. You can also get sandwiches on a croissant. The rest of the menu is simple - toasts, sandwiches, salads, some items for the kids. They do sell their private label coffee beans in retail bags and will grind them for you. He was given a notice but had no where to go due to his condition we cannot take him in it is impossible. They had told me they were giving him an extension and trying to find suitable living conditions for him. They claimed they were unsuccessful. He tested positive for vaping and his test came up positive for TCH. I understand why he couldn't stay there, as a result but it is inhumane to throw someone out with no car, in 93 degree temps. I would like to further investigate in a legal fashion. Per their handbook they are required to find suitable housing.

Welcoming the Stranger is a local non-profit in Langhorne, Pa., that offers English As A Second…read moreLanguage, Computer Skills, and Citizenship Preparation classes to new immigrants and refugees. Their mission comes from the Gospel of Mathew to, "...welcome the strangers amongst us..." I had the good fortune to reach out for help from these wonderful people when friends from Asia arrived with the intention to obtain Green Cards, and ultimately become American citizens. Their English speaking skills were not great, and they were able to join a two night a week class to learn the spoken word. The classes they attend are held at Morrisville High School, but there are also day classes in Langhorne. The open heartedness of these volunteers is truly inspiring. Rain or shine, they show up to teach, often with more teachers than students. Their classes are lively and interactive. The compassion demonstrated for their students is exceptional. People from the four corners of the globe attend. In the particular group my people are in, there are students from Brazil, China, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Haiti. It is great to know such good people are out there!
