Holy Redeemer Thrift is a decent sized store with the usual thrift shop offerings.  The prices here are a little high ~ and if you are in the market for drinkware, cups, lamps, clothes, linens ~ then you are in luck.  The store is separated into two areas ~ big items such as wall hangings, furniture are showcased in one section, clothes/household items are located in the other.   The real star of the show here is furniture.  The day we stopped by there was a surplus of dressers, coffee / side tables,  wall decor.  Some pieces were very vintage and absolutely gorgeous.  With a can of chalk paint and a little bit of imagination, many of these one of a kind tables, chests could be transformed into another life. read more

My parents shopped here years ago, and I have done so in recent years. Most of the time I've enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, but recently the store has significantly increased certain prices (shoes increased in price by a third, other items in clothing also, as well as hardcover books, etc.) and while I understand that the money goes to a good cause, staying affordable keeps people coming back, and not having full price on damaged/worn out items helps that, too! Being fair to your customers will always win out in the end and sets the best example. read more

They have some nice merchandise here however many items are overpriced. For example, people donate items from Dollar Tree, they mark them up to at least $2. They have flat pricing for clothing. Tank tops are listed at $2. The lady at the register wouldn't honor the advertised price saying I didn't buy tank tops. The shirts were sleeveless, that makes them tank tops!!! She said they were too nice to charge $2. Then don't advertise flat pricing!! Although I did leave with some great items, I can't recommend this store. They don't act very "Holy". read more

The store is fairly large and well organized. The prices seem overall fair if it's on sale, so I try not to buy anything at full price. The clothing, of course depends on donations, but typically is outdated and not many designer names. They tend to separate items that they think are worth more money and put behind glass cases. And as time elapses due to the high prices, the cases are overflowing. I think they must research ebay prices, but not sold prices as they really are high. I tend to just walk by and not even look anymore. Another big issue I have is the staff particularly the jewelry counter. I love looking and if she thinks your a reseller then watch out - a big attitude is coming. I don't think customers should be treated differently. They are paying the price on the tags, so it doesn't matter what they are doing with the items. Furniture is huge here, outdated and very overpriced, but maybe you'll get lucky with the right item. Definitely worth coming in, but I do hope management reads this and makes some changes. read more

Fantastic "boutique" section in the back of the store. You can find very unique, vintage, and designer items in that section. I also recommend checking out the "Buy it now" high end antique section in the glass cases. These people know what they're doing! Don't be afraid to ask for a deal if you're buying multiple items from that section. If you find an item sold online for cheaper than they have it listed in the store, they'll definitely give it to you at that price or cheaper. Remember people, this is a NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION that benefits Holy Redeemer Hospital. They pay their employees and keep the lights on and all the rest of the money goes to a fantastic cause! Great pricing and so much furniture. The employees were very polite at check out but didn't offer much help during my visit. The furniture section is fully stocked and organized. I didn't look at the clothing because I was there for home goods. I did find little things that were useful but not too many major items. They also had a nice selection of lamps! I know prices everywhere have been going up but the price tags at Holy Redeemer Thrift store are ridiculous. A small decorative vase selling online used for 19.00 has a tag at this store of 25.00 Another small painted vase priced 30.00. Photos framed hanging on their walls two years ago were 25-50.00. Now? 150.00. Don't even get me started on the 'boutique' items. And most of these items will not even end up selling and sadly get thrown in a dumpster at a later date. Won't be going back there gain. read more

I feel bad saying this about a store that sells donated items and gives the money to a hospital, but Holy Redeemer has gone downhill! They used to have the BEST stuff in here! Now you have to scour to maybe find something that is interesting. They do have a pretty cool silent auction set up. Their nicer things are kept in a glass cabinet with numbers on them, and you can write in a bid for it. I do like to come here, the prices really can't be beat! read more

This was my first time here. It was overall very clean and they took your temperatures at the door, which was reassuring. Everyone was required to wear a mask as well. Their clothes were a bit of a hit or miss, but fairly priced, along with the furniture. I did find some cool home decor items, but some of it was a bit overpriced for a thrift store. You could also try things on, which was a game changer for the current times. The try on rooms were very dusty though, but it wasn't a big deal. I am definitely going back! read more

This thrift store is a good location in the strip Mall. We dropped off some clothes that we did not want in the back of the building. The 2 guys barely acknowledged me, so I just stuck my bag on the steps and went back in the car and left. I then went into the store to shop. The layout has changed since I was last there, it's a bit more modernized which is good! Some of the finds are good! The employees are also really helpful. The employee stuffed all my items into one bag which was super heavy and my glass cups were not wrapped too well, thank God they did not break. read more

The part that I absolutely LOVE about this place is that they have a vintage clothing section. The people who run the store evidently know what they are doing and who their customers are. They have a great eye for vintage and unique pieces. I do have to say that this is a rather expensive store for a thrift shop... I paid $25 for a vintage cocktail dress (that I fell in love with and couldn't pass up) which would have been more like 7.99 at salvation army. The non-vintage clothing is also slightly pricey. I also love that they have a Furs section! I don't wear fur and haven't bought a piece from here but again it's clear that the store owners know what they are doing. They have each piece appraised and get the details on each piece. The housewares and electronics departments are basically non-existent, so if you are coming here for household items, you'll be out of luck. Worth a visit about once a month. If you're looking for a new favorite thrift store, look no further! My husband and I are avid thrift store shoppers, and this one is by far our favorite of them all. Not only are their prices really great, but the variety of things they sell range greatly and they even have a "customer appreciation" type thing set up. If you give them your phone number and/or email, you get $15 off a purchase when you spend a certain amount there. My husband, son, and I went there this past weekend and were as pleased as we always are. They were having good sales on clothing tagged certain colors. I got two pair of pants for $1 each, and overalls for I think $2.50! I also got a pair of shoes 50% off, and name brand at that! You really can't beat their prices when it comes to their sales. We disagree with a previous review. We love HRTS. And they don't just give money to the hospital; they use it for mothers and children. It is a beautifully arranged store. Their clothing is quality and they are color coded. Everything is very neat and clean. Furniture is high quality. Public restrooms which are kept clean. Their prices are reasonable. You can earn points towards your next purchase. And they sell their own gift cards. We have donated many things to them; and we have purchased both small and large items. I haven't enjoyed going here since they redid it. The clothes are more expensive than most stores that sells brand new items. A used t shirt is $4. That's CRAZY!!! No sales, no discount days. And nothing quality or no treasure finds. Just old trinkets and old clothes. The merchandise is pricey and not worth the trip. I really don't think they want to sell their clothes or much else. read more

They have sections in their book department called "Female Authors" and "Male Authors." I never quite understood this. Do many people get a hankering to read a new book and they think, "Damn, I could really go for a book written by a man..." Too funny. At times Holy Redeemer a bit pricier than some other thrift stores, but that doesn't mean you won't ever find a deal. Sometimes I am surprised to find really nice stuff for not a lot of money. This is a great thrift store to go to if "granny chic" is the style you're going for, because I almost always feel like I am rummaging through my grandma's house here. You can find vintage linens, kitchenware, and decor all over this store. You might need to scour the shelves to find something valuable, but if you're looking for something unique, this place is full of them. They have lots of books, junk jewelry, clothes, glassware, and furniture. If you sign up for their email list, you can get frequent-buyer discounts (must spend at least $12 to have it tally points for your visit), they send you regular emails with coupons and sales. Overall, a very nice store. One I don't often go out of my way to go visit, but if I am passing by, I can't say No. :) read more

The Store is great for when you need something and you don't want to spend a bunch of money. The donation pick up people for the store are not so great. I had to call the guy a couple times to clarify items to pick up etc. I called a third time to alert him of a change, only to be berated because I was bothering him. Oh, and the last change to my pickup was to take an item off the list for donation......the driver then told me they don't make donation pickups for just 2 items. All I can do is shake my head. read more

Holy Redeemer Thrift Store is terrific. All items are price to "move" quickly. This benefits those of us looking interesting pieces at bargain prices. And, it benefits our Community by providing young families and those on modest income the opportunity to buy quality goods and necessities: bedroom sets, kitchen equipment and clothing, etc. There is also senior discount of 25% each Thursday evening. One evening we bought a beautiful maple hutch, marble topped dresser, and a Philadelphia House wing chair for a incredibly low price. Holy Redeemer's team delivered and installed the items in our home for under $100.00. They were professional, charming and fast. I can't wait to go back and check out what's in store. read more

store looks nice since expanding. clothes are very outdated and have overrun the store to cover all the space the shop has now. shoes and jewelry overpriced. a half a tube of body cream for $3.00-should be thrown out. linens are way over priced; a used comforter was 50.00-a new one can be bought cheaper. yes, furniture does come in that is good, but no one really gets a shot at buying it. lack of daily sales too! always leave empty handed; will not be returning any time soon. read more

I hit every thrift store in Bucks and Montgomery counties but unfortunately this store is just not worth visiting anymore. The employees are nice people and the store is well kept but they never have anything worth-while for my liking. If you like doilies, trinkets and used kitchen amenities then this is the place to go. Anything that is a quality item or some sort of collectable goes into the silent auction or is sold on Ebay and from what I've been told is that used furniture merchants in the area get tipped off to any quality furniture that comes into the store. They get first crack at those items before they go out on the floor which is believable because every time I ever went there most of the furniture had SOLD signs on them. read more

Holy Redeemer Thrift store is fantastic! I try to stop in often, as you never know what you will find, Recently, there is a "boutique" area added in the rear of the store - what a treat! it is set up to be very visually appealing - and there are some great finds - recent Talbot's merchandise, Coach and BCBG shoes (i found BCBG black patent wedges with silver buckle - $30! - like brand new!). There is also a great selection in the rest of the store - i found a great back to preschool outfit for my 5 year old which cost a total of $4. the store is organized, there are plenty of folks working hard and the parking is great. oh yeah - open Sundays, too! I really think HR is one of the best not for profit thrifts around! read more

I shop here often and have bought many pieces of furniture. I only wish that they would NOT attach their price stickers to the front surfaces of their items. They are very hard to remove without causing damage. If it is necessary to use these inexpensive glued price tags,why can't they be placed in a less obvious place on the items? read more
