Recently, we experienced a death in the family. While planning the funeral, I naturally turned to this florist because of the trust I had in their artistry. I visited the studio in person to request a wreath. Before I could even share any details, the designer on-site declined, citing a full calendar of events. I completely understand that schedules fill up, especially during wedding season--but what hurt most was the lack of empathy. There was no moment of pause, no kindness--just a flat, "I'm just being honest." Not even a conversation about alternative options. Just an immediate no. What made this harder was the fact that their website advertises same-day orders. We were offering four days' notice. I wasn't expecting miracles--just a little humanity. More than the refusal itself, it was the absence of care that stayed with me. In a moment of grief, even a small gesture of compassion would have meant the world. Our August wedding in Big Sky would have never been the same without Katalin's creative genius…read more Months before the big day, my mother and I met with Katalin for an afternoon of wedding planning on a brisk Saturday in April. After greeting us with hot tea (thank the heavens) and a tour of her beautiful studio, Katalin immediately jumped into making my wedding vision come to life. To say that we walked out of that meeting feeling excited is an understatement - Katalin was not only incredibly creative and professional, but her love and passion for her work had truly shone through. We couldn't wait to see what she came up with! When the wedding day rolled around, I was not at all surprised to see that Katalin exceeded all expectations. She created gorgeous floral wreaths for my hair and each of my bridesmaids, bouquets that were so beautiful that I teared up when I saw them, boutonnières that had the MEN gushing (seriously, not even joking! Who knew that men liked thistle?!), a ceremony arch dripping in blush and cream flowers as well as wild greenery, and even incorporated ethereal design elements such as blush feathers and wheat to act as a nod to my family from Oklahoma...it was a dream come true. As if that weren't enough (yes, I'm not done with my review yet)...we hired Katalin as our florist but she made sure to take the entire 'vision' of the wedding to mind when crafting her arrangements. Katalin stayed in contact with me throughout the planning process and would reach out to me with ideas that she had outside of floral arrangements to help to enhance other design elements unique to the day, such as the table arrangements and our ceremony site. (Case in point: My husband and I were married on top of a beautiful bison rug that she loaned to us a few days before the ceremony to help complete the look! Brilliant!) Long story short, we can't even begin to think of what our wedding would have looked like without Katalin. I could gush on and on, but seriously - this woman knows her stuff and will stop at nothing to transform your day into the most special and unique experience possible.

Overall, she's a talented floral and design artist, but if you're looking for strong logistical support or are planning from out of state, I'd recommend clarifying expectations early on!
