I have been using this firm for 8+ years to reduce my tax assessment. I was referred to them by a colleague. They do a great job! I cannot complain. I never had to speak with them, since they automatically fight my assessment every year by the timeline required. They seem to have an assembly line production going on. I send my authorization to them annually to argue my assessment, and send my payment to them annually for my tax reduction amount. It can't be easier than that. They do their job effectively. I called them in 2016 to sign up for the 2017/2018 tax year and they tell me I have an outstanding balance from 2012!! Two months later they sue me for a 4 year old bill! I don't have the receipt from 4 years ago to show that it was paid. I paid it years ago but their system is so incompetent that it shows it wasn't paid, and they sue me after I call THEM to sign up to do business with them! Plus, the staff that I dealt with is nasty. The accounts receivable woman is a petulant child who yells at you. They are too foolish to comprehend that if I was trying to avoid paying a bill, I wouldn't have called them! The boss won't even call me back when I tried to request a meeting. Perhaps the staff is not even telling the boss what is going on. I would definitely stay away from this firm and use a more competent agency. I see I'm not the only one complaining about their billing practices. read more

I have used this firm for the past 15 years, since I purchase my home in Lawrence in 1999, to work on my behalf to reduce my tax bill. They were referred to me by me by my closing attorney when I purchased the house. I have never had a problem with them. They have never overcharged me or asked for any fees other than the $30 dollar registration fee which is standard. On the multiple times that they helped reduce my taxes and I owed them their fee they were good enough to let me pay it out over several months. BTW - other than speaking to the office admin I never had to speak with any of the attorneys and I always got respectful, courteous and quick turn around service I think those who complained probably didn't take the time to be courteous and deal honestly with them. These folks will waste your time. Once I used them to file a tax grievance, never heard from them again. This year, I gave them five commercial properties to review. The deadline passed as they strung me along. If you need something done, look elsewhere. A HORRIBLE firm. read more
