I brought it in to them and explained I needed it back within 10 days. They were able to get it back to me in that time and the motor looks great. Tim gave me an update call during the process which I appreciated. The price was more than fair. Tim estimated a range of hours it would take and shared the hourly rate. I was traveling to Oregon for this install and spoke to Ryan on the phone twice. He sent an invoice and we set an appt time. I showed up the install bay was waiting for me and 2 days later a new 200hp outboard had been professionally installed and water tested. His lead technician Jason walked me through a very thorough tutorial on the differences and maintenance procedures from my old outboard to the new one before I left the yard. But all that happens between April and June. And then *poof* it's all over and the heavy Taiwanese boats are stashed away beneath the Hi-Hat Restaurant for another year. The real juice of Portland's dragon boating milieu -- where teams train year-round and often go to national and world championships -- is the paddler-run DragonSports USA. A single dragon boat club has maybe 25 or 30 members and can't afford to buy, moor or maintain the 12-meter craft. So DragonSports USA was formed to provide all of Portland with access to sleek Hong Kong-stye dragon boats for recreational and team uses. And since 1997 they've been right downtown at Riverplace, where everybody can get to them. What really makes DragonSports rock is the level of volunteer commitment. With 8 boats and 2 races each year to run, an undertaking like this could cost a bundle. But when it's time to move a boat or organize a competition, it's all hands on deck. Because there isn't a big staff to support (just the ever-heroic Ayla) a lifetime membership in DragonSports costs $40 and then a team rental for a 22 -person boat is $22 per hour. Individuals can paddle at open practices for -- get this -- $25 per quarter. Yes, $40 up front and $100 per year. Take that to your gym and see if they'll match the price. And even if they do, when did you ever see people leaving spin class with the kind of goofy grins you find on those soggy people trodding up the boat ramp at Riverplace?

Had nothing…read morebut issue after issue with the boat, communication with the dealer has been terrible, they won't respond, they tell you they will het back they never did, I had to be chasing them constantly for answers. A seat broke and they want me to pay almost 2k to ship it to Maui. A recall came in and because there is no dealer on island they won't do anything about. My steering system completely came off its assembly while on the ocean, my ballast tanks are not working, they first told me to remove the ballast module and send it over and they would send me a replacement. Well now I just got a txt from them saying that they cannot longer comunícate with me and that I have to do it all Troy Yamaha corporate. The funny thing is Yamaha says all warranty claims need to be handled trough the dealer. So it looks like Yamaha and Rivercity clearly spoke and said to each other "let's screw this guy, we already got his money, let us handle him we are a big corporate company and have in house lawyers". Stay out from this dealer they don't care about nothing else than making a sale and taking your money, and as much as Yamaha use to be a reliabale company, we'll after COVID they no longer, their quality control went down big time and they hide behind warranty and lawyers to don't respond for their products. STAY AWAY or found it by yourself. Hopefully my experience will help others don't be at the same or similar situation

Here's the biggest and most significant complaint they hardwired all my electronics with no battery 1/2 All switch which is standard for all boats especially aluminum boats! My Garmin reactor is constantly flashing a green light on the relay even when the screen is powered down, thus constantly draining power parasitic power draw! I would hope in the future with any customer they would have a check list of what comes on it, especially for the new boater!! The battery 1/2/ all is a must for battery parasitic draw that could potentially leave you stranded on the ocean! For the most part it was a ok experience but that detail for me personally is huge! Had they have asked i immediately would have said yes!!

I used the Yelp service to get repair quotes and received several offers that varied in price and process. I decided to go with New Life and Dale reached out to set up an appointment. Dale arrived at my house on time and greeted me with a smile and a handshake. I showed Dale to the garage, we backed the car out, he took a look, confirmed that he could do the job at the quoted price, and told me he would be done in an hour. Exactly an hour later we went to look at the completed job. A picture says a thousand words. I have two other projects for Dale in the next month or two. Dale and his service are excellent!

Did not think it possible, but Dale at New Life Leather and Vinyl repaired several brand new,…read moreexpensive prices of leather furniture that my brand new rescue kitty damaged with her claws. This guy performs magic! I bought an off-white sectional and chaise and two matching recliners by American Leather. Off white in color and a soft buttery leather. When my new kitty tried to jump on them, she could not reach the seat and tried to pull herself up with her claws. Ouch! I know you are saying, why do you have leather furniture with cats? Because none of my previous cats like sitting on leather, preferring the fabric chair, so leather was always the safe bet. Until this little girl. She also punctured the vinyl (pleather) seats on two of 3 custom barstools I had made to fit under my kitchen island. Same M.O. Trying to climb onto them to sleep. After calling the furniture store and reading Yelp reviews, I called Dale for an estimate. He showed up on time, explained the process and gave me an estimate. The process is involved - not only glueing, but matching the scratch with paint, sealing, etc. He would do the repairs at my house and it would take 5-6 hours. He had an appointment a few days later. This furniture was expensive, and at this point in my life, meant to last "forever" so I hired Dale on the spot and prayed he could perform miracles. Without fixing the wholes and scratches, the leather would only deteriorate more. Dale showed up precisely on time and got to work after prepping my space. He worked continuously and diligently. When he was done, I couldn't even find the scratches and punctures on all the leather pieces. The vinyl is harder to repair due to the slight texture pattern, as he warned, but other than me, no one would notice where the punctures were. The counter stools looked like a meat tenderizer had gone over them and now they are smooth again! Magical. Hope I never need Dale's services again, but happy if I do, Dale and his craftsmanship (magic) is just a phone call away. Highly recommend!
