The Greensprings folks also met us at their parking area, and provided transportation to and from the gravesite for those of us who needed mobility support. All of the people we've interacted with have given us the impression that they care deeply about our planet and are being careful to preserve the natural ecosystem with plantings as well as with their rules about burial shrouds and coffin materials and so on. When we returned home from the burial, I had the impression we'd been on a hike in the hills - a very different vibe from the usual somewhat depressing and formal funerals I'd seen in movies, and a feeling more like a beginning than an ending. The whole experience was perfect for our family and has left me feeling confident that Mom is safe in the arms of the earth, exactly where she wanted to be, surrounded by wildlife and flowers and trees.

Bob immediately showed up at our house "after work hours" to evaluate the situation. He took the time to check out what he could of our leaking septic system, inside and out, and talked with my husband about the issues that they may find when the needed excavation was done. The next day and surprisingly way before expected, Bob and Nate showed up with their Bobcat fastidiously and swiftly backing it into our driveway off a very busy roadway. Bob always made sure I knew the whole process and every procedure required, making sure I had a say in all the proceedings while having me photograph the process to share with my husband who was at work. 7 and a 1/2 hours later the whole septic dilemma was resolved and we can now, thankfully, use all house plumbing without worry! Before she even got the box out of the car an older white man, red faced, screamed at the top of his lungs "you can wait in line like everybody else". She got back in the car because she was so scared by him. She reparked and went inside to tell the manager because it was so upsetting. The mam followed her inside and stood next to her leaned forward and intimidating while she politely explained what happened to the manager. Then she left without donating. She came home shaking and crying. I'm furious that this happened and want the employee fired. He was a 65ish white male, blue shirt, blue shorts, working at the donations. Though we didn't use a climate-controlled unit her stuff stayed clean and dry. The facility is well-lit and feels safe even at night; it is also well-maintained in the winter. The location is very convenient for us and we'll definitely recommend these folks to others and use them again ourselves if we find ourselves needing another unit.
