I found the Moon Shadow website and decided to book a trip. We brought mother couple, so there were four of us, along with Captain Glen and his wife Seray for our 2.5 hour cruise. The Moon Shadow is a beautiful, well-maintained sailboat. Our hosts made us feel very welcome. Glen helped us carry the food and beverages we brought along from the gate of the marina to the dock and let us use the small refrigerator in the galley. I was invited to connect my phone to Moon Shadow's sound system by Bluetooth, so was able to play my own music for the whole cruise. We lucked out and had perfect weather- clear skies, sunshine, and a nice breeze to keep us moving. We got going pretty good for a while. Glen and Seray were nice people, friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting to talk to. Bottom line is all four of us had a great time and plan to make this an annual event!

You can bring food and drinks on the boat though they do have a bar full of options to choose from if you want a beer or cocktails. No food options to purchase on the boat. Everyone was nice and my son even was able to take the wheel for a while. A positive was that we were able to jump on the boat with no reservation. There are 4 large booth tables and plenty of other folding chairs and tables to relax by. They have a bathroom on board the ship with its very own window. As we entered, the tables on the main deck were arranged to fit party groups of either 6 or 8 guests and a table for 2. The buffet food was arranged at the front of the dining area and the musician (acoustic guitar) next to it. He did a wonderful job of singing and playing both guitar and harmonica. Upstairs, they had tall tables with a few metallic stools. So happy the room was air-conditioned. Serve yourself was near immediate. Bar and drinks were upstairs on the observation deck. Soft drinks and tea were included. The accommodations up there were tall tables and a few metallic stools To the food: The assorted greens salad was fresh with your choice of salad dressings. Then rolls with real butter, followed with spaghetti with meatballs and a pasta with shrimp and parmesan, and chicken parm cutlets. Potato salad and a caprese salad of sliced mozzarella and tomatoes topped with a balsamic dressing. There was enough for seconds. Close to the end of the cruise, they brought out some desserts that looked like magazine quality. Cheesecake, chocolate layered cake, carrot cake, and lemon bars. All were very rich, and nothing was left. The staff could not have been nicer and very efficient. It's a really great crew. There is plenty of free parking. One note, this is not a wheelchair accessible due to a series of steps.
