Only 54 DAYS in that's what I paid them. in the first 3.5 months (106 days) my total racked up with them was $16,000.41 My new total is: $17,608.10 I still owe them $6,728.47 I told my lawyer in March I could no longer use her bc I could not afford her anymore. She said she understands and would file the documents. In NO world should a parent have to pay $16,000.41. to finally have court house visitation after weekly drug tests were failed for the other party. It shouldn't have taken from September till December & $16,000.41 billed to me for something that strict to be put in papers. Especially when drugs Are involved. My lawyer had me doing everything she could to keep mediation going when I asked over and over to go before the judge. And don't get me started on the TWO emergency removals I had to file bc drug tests kept coming back negative. Instead of setting things up for a future failed drug test she had me filing one each time till we finally had mediation. If you don't know anything about emergency orders they are THOUSANDS of dollars EACH!!! It was mediation after mediation after mediation and legit dragging things out as much as she could! Their justification are these exact words that you can find on Google review. "I do want to also point out (as it is shown in the public record) that when we withdrew from your case our attorneys were successful in having the Court order your child's father to be placed on supervised visitation and was required to see your child exclusively at the courthouse with trained professionals and sheriff deputies present. This is the strictest form of supervision that the court can order." Oh thank you. It only cost me $16,000.41 and 106 days for your lawyer to finally make that happen!! Cocaine is a serious drug. a weekly test was failed over and over and over. And it still took 106 days for this decision to finally happen!! Read all the other reviews. Regarding the other reviewers that say he is pompous or has attitude, he is a CPA!! His job is to get you the facts and crunch the numbers, and do so as efficiently and accurately as possible. Yes he can be short and to the point at times, but the man gets the job done and does it well! Like others have said, you can tell instantly that he knows what he is talking about. He wants to make sure the job gets done right and that the client knows exactly what they are getting. I would really not want my CPA to be any different than Kamran. He is courteous, to the point, factual and extremely knowledgeable. Yes, his emails or calls may be short and to the point at times, but you're hiring a CPA, not a therapist. He has happily spent 15+ minutes on the phone with me answering silly questions and explaining things. I would actually say he is quite patient and helpful, moreso than other CPAs I have worked with. It all started with me responding to a Craigslist ad...yes, yes, I know what you are thinking, "Chris, seriously?", but I did. The guy seemed to have Big 6 Accounting experience and when I interviewed him he was spot on. I thought I may have found my guy. Boy I couldn't have been more wrong. We went back and forth discussing services and pricing options and after I sent him a list of what I expected to receive, we settled on monthly fees. I was excited and the work began. At first things seemed to be moving along slowly, but I did get my tax returns and filed them. But then I inquired about 2015 reconciliations and the fact that we were already in the middle of 2016 and no bookkeeping had been done up to this point (he started in March 2016). This is when the fun began. He told me he had to slow down his pace so that monthly payments would catch up to the amount of work that has been done. I then checked his fees up to that point against mine and saw that they were not right and basically he was dragging me out. After countless back and forth emails, I finally told him I wanted out. He agreed to upload half of 2015 to my Quickbooks which the $4,600 I had already paid him would cover, and I accepted. He alerted me to let me know the update was done and we then parted ways. However, I started noticing invoices I knew had been marked paid showing up unpaid in the system. After further review, I saw invoices going back five years showing up as unpaid! SABOTAGE! When I sent him an email alarmed and thinking it was a mistake and that he would fix it, he ignored my emails . . . all of them! Well, lesson learned. I was the bozo on this bus. Still marking invoices as paid. Maybe even as you read this. Stay away from this guy, the light is on but there is nobody home.
