After having Covid in 2020, I have struggled with complications from an autoimmune disorder that presented itself in the months post Covid. I have been unable to breathe fully in seven months and the pain in my body has increased significantly. Specialists have prescribed a multitude of medications and my symptoms just kept getting worse. I came to reiki as a possibility, figuring it was at least worth a try. After my first session, I had zero pain in my body. For the first time in I don't know how many years - I could turn my head completely from side to side, I could lift my arm all the way up over my head, I could close my hands into complete fists, and I could bend my knees into a squat. I felt more alert, I was less depressed and anxious. But the best part was that I could breathe again. I have not had to use my inhalers once since going to that appointment - and I was using two steroid inhalers twice a day plus an emergency inhaler as needed! I made an appointment expecting a basic, restorative massage and was pleasantly surprised to discover that Christina's background and knowledge focused on areas like Orthopedic massage and accident recovery!
