What a weird conversation. Tried getting someone to pick up some left over dirt I had from a…read moreproject. Originally ordered 5 cubic feet of dirt, used about half for my project and need the rest (a max of 3 cubic feet) hauled off. He started off the convo by basically complaining it was a lot of dirt, which was confusing. Didn't even say hi or ask me details. I offered more photos as it wasn't a lot, less than half a truck? He then decided to argue with me and tell me it was a "very very very very" minimum of 5 cubic feet....which isn't even logically possible as that was what I had before I started my dirt project so.....okay. But he decided to keep arguing with me and telling me he was gunna charge more because it was 5 cubic feet (no matter what I told him that it wasn't) so we went with someone more professional and accommodating. Maybe change your attitude when talking with a client? This could have gone much better if he had just declined the job to begin with?
