A fully set up (and beautiful) dining room table, slippers for everyone, pack n plays for the little ones, and towel warmers just to name a few. Each room was private and had it's own bathroom, but there was also a large common area in the basement where we spent most of our time together as a family. It's only about $50 per night to stay here, and it's great as a last resort, since most hotels were totally full due to the Independence Day holiday. You also get a free homemade breakfast, and you can eat it outside on the large porch while watching the birds and cats. Examples of breakfast entrees served are a breakfast quiche, breakfast casserole, and french toast. The couple who owns the inn is friendly too, and they like to come over and chat while you're eating. Because of this, I added a star to the rating. Otherwise, I would not stay here. There is no internet access, free wi-fi, cell phone service, or even phone in the rooms. No amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, razor, or soap, is provided. I think this is bad when you've been traveling on an airplane. You are provided access to a refrigerator (unlimited sodas and bottled water - though they ran out of water) and microwave. There really isn't housekeeping service. The trash cans are never emptied (really bad after you've been on a road trip), the bed is never made for you, sheets aren't changed during your stay, and towels are replaced every other day (it seems). The worst part of the stay though was the smell of hydrogen sulfide whenever you ran the water. Because of this, I won't stay here again. If someone takes a shower, the whole room smells like rotten eggs, and it's disgusting. The same applies to brushing your teeth. If you brushed your teeth and used the tap water instead of bottled water, you'd have this rancid taste in your mouth. Gross!

There is very limited access to our everyday technologies, but it is also great to be able to quietly think and read on the front porch. Sandy and I stayed here from 8/1/2018 through 8/11/2018 and loved every minute of it. Judy made a wonderful country breakfast every morning, and Dale pretty well stayed out of her way, while regaling us with History and stories of rural life gone by. It is a working farm, but the Mills take time to help us enjoy the hospitality. Also, ask Dale for a quick canoe trip, it absolutely makes the trip, and is is incredibly relaxing.

Great place to stay for working in the area. Caution to bigger guys, the only draw back to room was a 2.5'x2.5' shower cube I could barely move in & I'm only 180 lbs 5' 9" guy. Other than that room was comfortable & good weekly rate of $225/wk in off season (was there in Nov,). Internet service was not very good in Rm25, disconnected a lot then reconnected. Rm25 is great corner room with extra windows & good views! They also have a patio area with BBQ grills, pizza oven, microwave, stove/oven, all utensils & plates/cups, you can use any of it & leave it there & they wash everything.....this is a very generous thing of the owners to do, so please don't steal stuff & ruin it for the rest of us honest people. WARNING: AVOID the Cancun mexi restaurant down the hwy....I've posted a review on it & they should not be in business!
