While the customer service here is excellent and I have had many wonderful experience having my three dogs groomed here. This last time left me speechless and not in a good way. I always get my three dogs bathed and add a haircut for my husky. It's hot in Laredo and she is 11 years old so I am looking to make sure she is comfortable. Now if you have any experience with a Husky and their double coat you know you can go short but not too short and you should never go so close that you can see their skin. To my horrible surprise I picked up Maya and her hair was so short you could see her skin. Not to mention she had places where the clippers actually caused damage. You can see pink irritated skin . Also they cut her on her neck. I am absolutely horrified. My sweet girl who loves getting groomed was not herself. I could tell the whole experience had been extremely traumatic. So not only am I looking at potential skin problems, having to buy her a sweater I also worry about her being traumatized!!! Kept our 12 year old lab here for 18 days during the Christmas Holiday. Very clean place with great personnel. Would definately return.

This place is heaven sent. We haven't tried their grooming yet but this is based on their dog boarding service. We made reservations for our 2 dogs to stay the night for 4th of July since we were heading out of town & the place we had been taking them to was going to be closed. Not only was this place open for drop off on the 4th but I found them to be more personable, communicative and affordable. They charge by night, per dog & by how much the dog weighs. They don't charge extra for an extra kennel so my 2 dogs don't have to share one (even though they might prefer being together)...which I found to be nice considering this isn't the case at the other place we have been to. Any time we think about taking a trip, we cringe at the financial cost of boarding them as well as their well being, not anymore. I highly recommend any dog owner to go to Laredo Dog Center for boarding, hands down we will be bringing our dogs back.
