Laredo Water Museum - Museums Near Me - Laredo, Texas

Our city doesn't have many things to do, but they just opened a water museum. This place is a new attraction in our city of Laredo, and you can learn about the water, its uses, how our city manages the water and information about the water plants that clean Laredo's waters. It has also history of the river, and the water resources, and interactive quiz to find out how much water you use, and how much water you have in your body. The fact that children can touch and learn, makes it a museum kids friendly. It is free right now, I'm not sure if it will continue to be free, but you can always call and find it more about it. Our children had the opportunity to do a scavenger hunt where they had to find answers for questions, and at the end they got a price. I will add a photo with the schedules. read more

This museum is super cool! Very pleasing to the eye with interesting facts about our water usage and local water usage as well.They also focus on our local animal life. We even did the scavenger hunt that they provided us with and won prizes if answered correctly. There's even a picnic area indoors and outdoors with a nice little trail. Great place to bring your kids! Made for a super cute date, too! read more
