So I cancelled it and rebooked the exact same person and the exact same senior dog. My appointment was at 730 with Alysha and due to a bit of traffic, I called to let them know I was around the corner (I was in the parking lot at 7:34), that's when the groomer decides to say that she wasn't sure if I was showing up because I was a no call/no show a couple times (it was once), and that she isn't comfortable grooming my senior dog because she is new and if I could come back at 10 so her supervisor could handle it. I had an appointment somewhere at 9 and could not be back in time to bring her for that time frame. She rescheduled me for 230 with the supervisor but I ended up canceling the appointment altogether. I asked her what would've happened had I not called and she said " I would've taken a look at the dog". Waiting until I get there to decide if you can groom my senior dog who has been there multiple times is inconsiderate as hell and unacceptable. Considering that I booked the same person and the same dog, once the groomer saw that, a courtesy call would've been nice. If the groomer was uncomfortable, she should've been calling me, and not me calling her and finding out as I'm in the parking lot. Very inconsiderate. Won't ever bring my pet back. Because now I'm worried that if you aren't comfortable, you will just hold my pet in the back and not say anything OR I'll have to find out as I'm dropping her off and that just doesn't make any sense.

I took my 13 yo POM for euthanasia in November 2025 and they left us in the room for 30 min unsupervised after giving him the first shot. They had told us they would be back in 10 min to give the final injection. My dog wound up having a heart attack due to their negligence as they waited too long! He was thrashing and screaming at the top of his lungs!! My BFF (who had her mother's dog put to sleep ~ 1 month before (smooth) & my son were with us and they ran out the door yelling to find help. After 5+ min (about 15+ by the time they got his final shot administered), they wound up giving him additional shots (yes multiple - at least 2 more) to finally put him down, but not before standing in my face and repetitively & continuously asking me if "I wanted them to help me," as I cried hysterically trying to calm my baby! "Of course," I replied, "that's why I'm here in the first place," as we all tried to calm my dog! Over the next week plus, I received a call from his actual vet there (West), who was sencere, apologetic and talked for almost an hour, heard me out and explained what had happened and told me we would work through this together; to call her anytime I was upset in the future, as I had to go to the doctor for myself after all that. I also received a sympathy card from the entire staff. I was in a VERY Bad Way for over a month and still have issues, but needed let it all go. FF to today 5/20/26 (6 mo) - to my absolute shock, I contacted then to take my son's dog in & made an appointment. The receptionist booked me right away and we hopped in the car. Once almost there, I received a call from Dr. Anderman herself and the conversation goes pretty much as follows: Me: Yes, this is Melissa (while driving and supporting a dog with a hurt leg). Anderman: We won't be able to see you as we're severing the relationship between us. "IF YOU DRIVE UP ON THIS PROPERTY, I WILL CALL THE POLICE AND HAVE YOU ARRESTED!" M: Are you serious? A: Yes, you yelled at and threatened my staff. (Which I did in NO terms do!!) M: Wait a minute, I need to pull over! Y'all left us in the room and my dog had a heart attack and no one could be found. I cant believe this; my son's dog is hurting and you just threatened me while I'm driving! A: I didn't threaten you. We are ending our relationship and if you show up you will be arrested!! M: You didn't think to let me know this back then? No problem, I'll find another vet! Glad to know they think a 60 yo, disabled woman is such a threat. BTW, my son's dog is okay now. Brought our Miso here for her first grooming and didn't know what to expect, but brought a pic of…read morewhat I wanted and boy did Joel deliver! I called beforehand to get an appointment and Joel asked if I could come in right away, which we did. When I went to pick her up, I went to pay and didn't see her yet, however my daughter locked eyes on her and she literally looked like an emoji with heart eyes, saying, "oh Miso!" and I turned to see that Miso came out absolutely fabulous! Joel was very kind and even had some tips for me on how to prevent my bernedoodle pup's fur from matting up. Would highly recommend.
