What I did find was an agent who was out of touch with the power of the Internet. A guy who acted like he owed me money every time I'd call him up. A guy who didn't think it was worth telling me that he was also going to be trying to sell his own home 200 yds from mine. A salesman that has lost that A.B.C. attitude (Always Be Closing, for those who are not Glengarry, Glenn Ross fans) and with the exception of telling me I should paint the trim of my house (something I was doing anyway) his main selling point was asking me to drop the asking price $20k below it's market value. I know these are tough times, but this began well before the bottom fell out and when I found he had posted his home on Craigslist and not mine or any other of his clients I knew his attentions were focused else where.
