I recommend making a reservation "Alta" which is the balcony seating -- in the evening, once it's cooled down, it's a beautiful setting. The food is fresh with amazing combination for flavors. The service is just.... Pure hospitality! Our server was so kind as we were tired from being out in the heat all day and he had a great sense of humor and made us feel incredibly at home. The tasado taco is an amazing blend of flavors. They have amazing mole -- with two mole trios -- or dedicated mole dishes. The mole negro is incredible! And the Coloradito with pork belly was my fav. The ceviche del dia ($190 MXN) was a little sweet and not as tart or sour as others I've had. The tacos de sirloin ($170) were really good and were our group's favorite. The taquitos dorados de mole negro ($140) were okay; there was no meat just in case you were wondering. The aguachile rojo de camaron ($190) were good. The esquite con tuetano ($100) was not like a typical corn in a cup but it was closer to a corn soup. For drinks I had the pequeño gigante ($210) which was good. The paloma madura and paloma margarita were both favorites among our group. We went during the day and it wasn't that busy but supposedly it gets way busier and livelier at night.

It was a little thick and it had tiny seeds floating in it (sort of like strawberry seeds). I enjoyed it. We were asked if we wanted sopa (soup) or ensalada (salad). I got the soup and my boyfriend got the salad. The soup was a little oily and bland. It was red broth with bow tie noodles. I needed to add a lot of salt to it. The salad looked good. It had a lot of carrots on it. Also, it had coconut, which was unexpected. I'm glad that I got the soup though. For the entree, I got the pollo barbacoa and my boyfriend ordered the tacos. We were given four options to pick from. The sauce for the chicken was good and it also included rice and vegetables. For dessert, we were given a small plate with sliced carrots, raisins, and cream. It was super weird and not my thing. I don't like carrots though. My boyfriend thought it tasted like cake frosting.
