Service was basic, nothing over the top. Except crumbing the table between courses which we of course appreciate. There was a language barrier. I try my absolute best with speaking in espanol although it may not come across correctly. So I order some things that didn't arrive in the drink department. Not the end of the world we had a great time. The small details of the plates that seem handmade was great, the overall vibe of the place is casual, but the delivery of food quickly throws that to the way side. This place is also not nearly as crowded as Taqueria Rosy so I feel like that is saying something also. However, this place has a much more extensive menu and like I said before the pozole is decent. My partner ordered the pork pozole and I tried everything in his bowl except for the meat and really enjoyed it - esp with the lime juice which I think it needed. Also interesting that they gave you chicharon. One thing I did really like was how much radish they gave you in your soup and there was a lot of tasty sauces you could add also. The atmosphere was also nice and the waiter attentive. The portion size furthermore was huge and my partner and I had no problem feeling full after sharing a meal.

Yes aside from the infamous pozolez the restaurant does serve a decent taco. I tried the Tinga and suadero. Lived both. Now, let's talk about the pozole which seems to be what La Cazuela is known for. If I were to tell you that the pozole is served bland, you might say I don't know squat. Suffice to say that Cazuela understands the taste buds of all people. If you happen to know a thing or two about pozole, you will know it's always about the base. The added ingredients that add glover yo your dish cones readily available at the table side. If this a good thing or bad thing. Well, in my opinion I was able to add the right amount of each ingredient to make my pozole taste as good as I like it No harm or foul, especially when you consider that place is filled with locals that know a thing or two about making their bowel of pozole taste like Mamas. There is usually a crowd waiting to eat here but don't just get in line--make sure you check in and put your name on the waitlist first. They will call your name when a table is ready for you. Although it's bustling, service is prompt & food comes out quickly. Everything we got was solid breakfast. Not pictured but we also ordered takeout from here when I was having stomach problems, and the chicken soup + chocolate cake really hit the spot.
