Unreliable technology detracts from a decent property Liked · This is a popular hotel for several good reasons. Rooms are clean and spacious, all have small refrigerators, car can be parked right outside the door. There is a restaurant on site. Shower has hot-enough water with decent pressure. Disliked · My problem with this property - and it is a personal requirement - is that the wifi is very poor. I was told by the receptionist that there is NEVER wifi at night! This is unbelievable - and unacceptable for me, as I travel extensively and communicate with clients, pay bills, etc in the evening, Since the only available reliable wifi is in the hotel lobby, I sat wrapped in a blanket at midnight, in the cold lobby, responding to the day's emails. For those who do not need reliable internet, this hotel is a decent option, but if you must have wifi (as I do, even to make reservations for the next night's hotel), this is a poor choice. (Also, outdated TV has poor reception, can't deliver a clear picture as the attached photo shows) read more

UPDATE: The hotel has acknowledged their mistake in double billing but is refusing to refund our money because we have opened a dispute with our credit card company. I assume they are hoping that we just go away. read more

Friendly staff. Very comfortable. The restaurant has great food. Fair prices. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here one night after crossing the border and heading south. The hotel is 1950's style and spread out over a large area with a pool and miniature golf course. Our room was pretty basic but comfortable enough and very quiet at night. Each room has a place to park right outside the door. The hotel restaurant was great. Service was impeccable and the food and drinks were pretty good. I'd definitely stay here again read more

Ok te only reason I am not Giving this hotel 5 star is because the faucet water smells like sewage and the room had a funny smell. Otherwise, the food, the service, their beds, the outdoor wow!!!!excellent loved this hotel and will definitely come back! Clean. Safe. Good place to stop between border and San Miguel de Allende. Nice grounds. Mini golf course. Pool. Very decent restaurant. Good service. I got the chorizo fondue and guacamole. Both excellent. Jugo verde for breakfast- fresh and delicious. The mattresses are new. The pillows are not rock hard but rather soft and pliable. The rooms are dark for sleeping and quiet. The sheets are clean and fresh and the rooms well maintained. The poor review is unnecessary. This hotel is good for what it offers and well worth the stopover. read more
