The food is fresh and so well cooked, and the service was refreshing if informal. The albondigas and ragas were fantastic. Worth a drive to get to.

We chose seafood croquetas, scallops, grilled shrimp and some fish/seafood mousse. Croquetas were fine, the shrimp were good (but we've had better before on this trip). The scallops were nice and fresh, tender...perfectly cooked. The fish/seafood mousse was different, but in a good way. Nice flavour to it, never seen this item anywhere before. A good choice. All in all a very good - but not great - meal. But for a big town like Santander very reasonably priced with a nice service. We enjoyed our lunch.
