From what I have experienced, Doctor Hector knew what he was doing! As well as the receptionist Sharla was very welcoming and helpful. I would 100% recommend them and the prices are very affordable!!! You get half of the price of what other "technician" would charge as to going to Doctor Hector, he is a board certified physician. The impulsive flower tattoo with some weird tribal print behind it seemed like a good idea twelve years ago. Today, not so much. I have long wished to have the lower stomach tattoo removed and finally got the courage up to visit Laser and Light Surgery Center and do just that! I love that their website had a lot of information about the removal process. I also enjoyed that the price was listed as well as what to expect during and after the procedure. On the day of, I entered the office and was nervous. The receptionist that greeted me was really nice. It was only a short wait until I saw the gentleman that performs the procedure. He confirmed the price that their website states, a tattoo like mine would cost $100 per treatment and may take 7 or 8 treatments. He was very patient with me as I was hesitant to let the laser touch me but wanted the procedure. He used 2 lasers on me, one for colored ink and one for black ink. I had heard that the procedure was way more painful than getting a tattoo however I found it to be less so. Three weeks after my first treatment and my tattoo is already much lighter than it was. Great service and results from Dr. Hector and his staff! I came to LL&S after being quoted a ridiculously high price by a physician on the west side of Indy for a 3x2" tattoo removal. That physician also advised me he performed work with a rented laser unit; I found out later that those units are much like other rentals...many times not properly maintained or serviced. Dr. Hector owns his unit; no rented equipment here! I had approx 6 treatments performed here to remove a fairy tattoo from my lower leg, (a MUST HAVE-when I was 18). The tattoo is not completely gone (they must've used some good ink at ASD!) but it has faded so much that it resembles a small vein, as there is a faint amount of residual blue color. I do admit the treatments were mildly painful, sort of like a repetitive stinging sensation, but the doctor did all he could to make sure I was comfortable. He and his staff treated me very professionally and cordially. The amount I paid for for all of my treatments was still less than the cost I was quoted by the initial physician for one treatment! Update: every session you have is at the same set price and they'll tell you how much it is before you have a treatment. The best part is you don't have to develop a treatment plan, you just schedule appointments as you want to based on their recommendations but there's no commitment unless you set it up that way! I've been going to Dr. Hector for almost two years now for my tattoo removal, it's almost 100% gone just as he predicted, the cost is reasonable, the staff are friendly and my visits are quick. I had a very good experience with tattoo removal at laser and light this past weekend. The receptionist there is super kind. She text messaged me and called me to remind me about my appointment which is a very good convenience in today's busy world. This place has a very good system down for coronavirus. I filled out my paperwork in my car and they gave me a jingle as soon as my appointment was ready. Fantastic! Dr. Hector gave me a great consultation. He was very thorough in asking me exactly what I wanted and we had great communication. He tells you the best approach and he definitely knows how to explain that. His cost was more than fair for the amount of time and precision. He has great experience with the laser and every technique he used was right on. Tattoo removal is a painful process so going to someone who knows how to do it fast and effective is key .
