We were told to try to leave the cream on as long as possible, so he did. He went to wash it off today and that's when we took everything out of the bag & learned that we did not get everything. Instructions say to apply retinol crème complex packet which he wasn't given. He was given an ice pack, that he didn't need. Also given a blue box of I believe the hydration crème. So at this point I feel like treatment isn't even going to work & what a waste of $300 when it's not done correctly. Beyond disappointed! Which is weird and not recommended from what I read everywhere. but I healed okay so I didn't question it. this was around 12 years ago. then about 3-4 years ago, I called and asked if I could come in to speak to someone for a consult for a tattoo, and was just told they do walk ins for that, so I did that right after. I went in and there were like 8 guys laughing at something and didn't talk to me or pay attention that I was there even though they could see me. I asked one guy, like hey how are yall doing can I discuss scheduling a consult or do one now? the guy said ok, and I showed him my design ideas and he said ok here is my number, text me and I will see if I can soon. so I call the day he said to and get ghosted. I wait a bit longer and still no answer. finally texted me like 2 weeks later and he said oh I forgot. I asked if we could schedule or see another artist, but he didn't text me after that. so yeah, it was weird. I am sure they have good people there, but since it seemed like they didn't want my money, I haven't been back. this was going to be 4 by 3 inch black line drawing. I feel like this was very simple, but I don't do tattoos, so i don't know for sure. But when I got eventually this tattoo at another studio it took about 40 minutes and that was with color and more intricate. I'm not saying they don't have good employees there, just confused by my experience.

Our first time at The Mandala Effect won't be the last!…read more While I didn't get inked, my sister in law and husband both did. Huge shoutout to Mikey who did an AMAZING job. My sister in law got two smaller tattoos and my husband got one larger one. This was both their first time and Mikey took time with each of them to make sure they loved the design and size before starting. He asked questions and made sure they were going to love it. During the tattooing, he had great background music playing but offered to let us pick our own. The room was small but comfortable. He made sure I could sit and watch he regularly offered us water. We talked and got to know each other for a large portion of the session. Mikey was also SUPER patient and at the end, made sure we knew how to care for the tattoos and asked if we had any questions.
