Had to get piercing redone at Mystic Images Tattoo. Person who did septum piercing used a retainer which came out in a couple of days and I couldn't get to back in. Staff were nice and helpful but this was only my second piercing and I didn't know a lot about what to expect. read more

Honestly wouldn't recommend doc at all to give you a tattoo, first off he's rude, this isn't what the stencil looked like at all it seems like he just wrote on my skin. Plus nobody can read it, the "I" is dotted on the "V" and it's blown out. He quoted me 180 for this but charged me 80 cus it didn't take him as long as he thought. It took him maybe a minute to write and he used a thicker needle than I thought, the stencil he showed me was thin and dainty and then he gave me a thick, unreadable, blown out tattoo. Definitely ask to see a portfolio before you do a walk in tattoo cus I messed up by thinking you had to be good to be in a tattoo shop read more

I had an awesome experience here. Cierra is a terrific artist and she is so friendly to boot. She made me feel like a client and not just a payday. She asked about the story behind what I was getting done and it was clear she wanted to make it great. She worked very efficiently and gently. The session flew right by and we were finished before I knew it and I was comfortable the entire time, despite the tattoo being in a sensitive spot. The environment is very relaxed and welcoming. I overheard their piercer working with other customers and he took his time to answer all their questions and get them what they wanted. The workspaces are clean and the prices are very fair. Ughhhhh. I had several sessions for several tattoos with one specific artist. He was never on time, which would become more and more frustrating. He would take frequent smoke breaks, also frustrating. When it came time for my half-sleeves, I would say specifically what I was looking for, yet it was never delivered. The only tattoo I don't regret from this place is the portrait on my calve, which is awesome. I quickly stopped going to this shop after my half-sleeves were basically ruined. read more

Do not waste your time or money at this place.. my artist(shannon) completely screwed my bicep up. A simple cloud design and he managed to make my clouds look like ball sacks.. upon healing, I returned to the shop to have a few minor touchups...he refused after I had already overpaid his "15 year" experienced ass.. I came at him in a respectful tone and manner and he blew up.. The owner, Scott? Total asshole.. I was told to come in for a tattoo at a specific time and when I arrived the man said it would be another 40 minutes before they could take me for my appointment. I waited in my car and called back after 40 minutes and they said it would be even longer and asked for me to send them a picture of what I had in mind so they could draw it out. It took so long I ended up leaving and nobody called or texted me anything till about 9:10 (an hour and 40 minutes after when my appointment was) and they said I could come in the next day. my friend and i both had our tongue webs pierced here on separate occasions. our piercer was amazing! he very thoroughly explained all of our questions. he also took out my friend's eyebrow piercing since it had been done poorly by another artist. we were made very comfortable, and the environment is very neat. not overly expensive either! will come back for future piercings. read more

I went in for my first septum piercing today, and the guy who did it was named Danny. He was very welcoming and nice, and he explained everything to me before starting the actual procedure. Piercing review Got a piercing job (2 on helix) done at Metamorphosis a year ago and they put hoops in and NEVER healed, have been very painful. I went here with a friend and he was very anxious, but the piercer (I think it was Danny) did a good job explaining things to him. I asked him about my piercings and he said that studs are way better for cartilage healing than hoops and that might help them heal, and said he would have placed them slightly differently (one is right on the bump of my cartilage... why). I went back several months later and reminded him of our conversation and he replaced my hoops for the studs. He is always super willing to answer questions, but it would be nice if he explained some things on his own (he put in one that was too small and then took it out and put a larger one in but I had to ask what was going on). As far as them needing people skills, I never felt put off by him at all, and the artwork in this place is amazing. Will definitely go to him for future piercings! Can't speak for the tattooing, but as far as piercing, this place is the best I've been to! read more

If it was possible to give negative stars, this place would get -5. Upon walking in with a friend, the both of us were immediately treated with rudeness and blatant disrespect. I was getting my nose pierced and my friend was get 8th tattoo. After my friend explained what she wanted, the tattooer drew something that was not exactly what my friend wanted. She tried (very kindly) to give him a better idea of what she wanted, but he continually told her that her idea was "wrong" and that he was the artist. This man and the other tattooer/piercer at the front finally caved and agreed to my friend's idea... But only after making fun of her and telling her the design was "not how it was supposed to look" for a solid five minutes. For whatever reason, it was obviously hard for this guy to understand this this is something that is permanent on her skin, not his skin. These people have zero people skills, but were insistent that "this is how all tattoo places are, it's just how we act." Everything we said, whether it was a general question or explaining an idea, was countered by a snide, condiscending remark. Not only did the place reek of hot garbage, but the two poor excuses for men stunk strongly of body odor, stale cigarettes, and weed. Additionally, they apparently have never used finger nail clippers, soap, or tooth brushes. Both my friend and I were elated to not give these dirty bums our business. I would never in my life recommend this place to anyone, ever, for anything. I will celebrate the day this place goes out of business! read more

I made an appointment in advance. The artist said he would draw several sketches of the two tattoos I wanted. He did not. He said he only had time to do one even though he kept me waiting an hour past when my appointment was. He made one sketch of my tattoo and when I tried to tell him how I wanted it he rudely told me my ideas were stupid and wrong. He complained the entire time. He was pompous, rude, and gave me little time. I wouldn't get another tattoo here and was disappointed in his lack of professionalism. read more

I have had seven piercings done here, all by Danny, and three tattoos. My piercings were perfect. My nostril has two, two in the cartilage of my ear, and I have three dermals on my collarbone. Danny is so skilled and I was able to ask advice about placement and what would work, I got honest answers and I really appreciated it. My dermals were in for two years and I never had a problem, Danny removed them for me when I switched to a job where I was in danger of them being torn out. He's a great guy and very personable and non judgemental. The height of professional courtesy and skill. I have four tattoos that were done here over the past ten years, all by different artists. I made the mistake of not listening to my artists at first and they did stellar work, but in hindsight I wish I had let them steer me towards things that would have worked and aged better. My favorite experience was when I went in on Friday the 13th for a $13 tattoo and the artist initially simplified my idea (it was a deal to get anything that inexpensive) and then surprised me and did exactly what I had imagined. Such a great place, so much talent, give them an idea and just let them run with it! read more

Tried this place for the first time yesterday to have an 8 ball tattoo touched up and more black added. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the quality of work that was put into it. Once again reviewing, sadly Danny left, who pierced me for about 4-5 years and NEVER screwed up. Comes time for my 18th birthday, I go in to finally get my tongue pierced by Bryan, the new piercer, and he has absolutely no idea what he's doing. Luckily, my tongue healed fine and is fine now, but he took over 20 seconds to even get the needle through, and as of that weren't enough, put in too short of a bar. Had to go back that same night to get it swapped out. I ended up having to message Danny about it and he even said it was screwed up and would fix it for me, but my experience with it is now ruined because of how brutal the entire experience was. 100% do NOT recommend going to Bryan. So upset that Danny is gone, but I for sure will be driving to Ohio for him from now on. He's the only piercer I will trust to put needles in my body from now on. read more

Came back to get my nose pierced and was kind of disappointed. Danny did a great job as usual but he didn't talk and kind of rushed me out of there. It was sort of uncomfortable. And he didn't even offer to let me see where he marked the piercing on my nose before piercing it. That was upsetting but I know he's great at what he does.
