I did my research on sugaring and how it works and decided to try it out. Another reason I wanted to switch it up was because the girl that did my Brazilian for my first time (at Lunchbox) was not very friendly and definitely made me feel super self conscious about the whole thing. Very uncomfortable experience! I called on a Wednesday afternoon (about 3) and was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get in at 4 o clock, only an hour later! Upon my arrival I filled out some quick info, had a glass of water, and boom! It was happening. Very quick, very efficient! Also I LOVED Charity. She was so personable and made the experience a hundred times better. I even told my boyfriend when I got home "She was so nice I wanted to be friends with her just because she was so awesome!" Seriously. Everybody in the facility was so friendly and welcoming. As for sugaring, it did not hurt too much less than the wax. But I was barely even pink and am not tender at all! Keep in mind that this is a reception-less location so if you didn't book through the app, text or online, you'll have to wait for an esthetician to walk out a client to make an appointment. My first and every other visit after (for over 2 years now) has been with Meg. I was hesitant to put a review out only because they're so incredible that I wanted to keep them as my little secret. But I seriously can't contain my overwhelming gratitude and appreciation for the level of detail, attention to customer care and overall magnificent level of service I receive at every, and I mean every, visit. Meg is strategic when ensuring the ultimate in care. I was told to not wash and definitely not rub them and no mascara or for at least 24 hours. I follow instructions! But 1/2 my lashes are gone. I was told that this sometimes happens and my lashes would grow back a couple of weeks. After seeking advice from an anesthetician with over 20 years experience and nothing to lose or gain told me that this just doesn't happen and that it's human error. Ether part one was left on to long ( eye safe perming solution) or the Second part, a neutralizing agent/setting solution. Was not done properly. This was done on a Saturday and by Monday morning my long full very blond practically invisible lashes are half gone. I promptly informed her and she said she has a lash solution that would help my lashes grow back. Turns out I had to pay another $42. Not happy at all! Oh and lashes don't grow back in " A couple of weeks". It may take months. I hate giving a bad reviews but I truly hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Best wishes
