I was planning my wedding from about 3 hours from the venue and Air B&B which meant that doing a trial was trickier than it usually would have been, but instead we went with a phone call. During the call she explained her process and her tools clearly, making sure to include why she opted for the makeup and techniques she uses. I described myself and what I was looking for on my big day and she assured me that she understood and that it would be great. And it was! I got the makeup look I was looking for and my girls looked beautiful as well. Everyone had a style that suited them well and was what they requested. I am very pleased that I went with her and would use her again if I needed professional makeup!

I got to the salon at 7:22am and the salon was locked. No problem, I waited around until 7:50am. They were still locked. The sign outside said "OPEN" and listed their open time for Saturdays as 7am-3pm. There was a number to call and text on the door, so I tried both. The phone went to message and no one responded to the texts. I got a call at ~9:30am after my many calls and texts saying that Maria had an emergency and couldn't make it, but they would be willing to give me a discount if I came back later the same day. I understand having emergencies and that you can't given an advanced warning for things like that. But a heads up at 7:30 at the time of my appointment or 8 is more reasonable. I know the loss of one client likely doesn't matter much to them, but I don't think I'll be coming back.

I like my thick brows but I thought it could be nice to get them shaped. I am so glad I did. The technician (I wish I remembered her name!) respected that I wanted to keep them full, but the shaping she did made me feel so confident and pretty in the end. She even showed me how to use a little makeup to make them pop a bit. I also love that she didn't use any oils or products after threading. I stopped getting eyebrow services because I always seemed to break out from the "calming" oils that were applied post-shaping. I'm sure you can request it if you want, but I'm glad I got it without. I was pleasantly surprised by, and wasn't expecting, how cute and trendy it was inside! I ended up there because my normal threading place closes so early since COVID - boo to them! Immediately I was greeted and felt welcomed and well taken care of! They did a spectacular job on my eyebrows and I feel I'm very picky about them. I'm definitely going back! I didn't realize they are a full salon and offer more services than threading. Although my first time here, I think I found my new threading spot! I get lash lifts and tints, and she knows how to make my natural lash curl beautifully without it looking like too much. I have naturally long lashes but they don't curl at all, and when I wear mascara they hit my glasses and get them dirty! But with a lift I get a natural curl and don't have to worry about it. The tint makes it so I barely touch mascara now! If you're debating a lash service go see her - it's worth it!
