Review on a gel manicure…read more I came in with the hopes of a specific design. But I didn't have high hopes given the poor reviews. I was desperate for a manicure so I tried it out anyways. I'll be honest my nail tech didn't seem to understand the nail design I wanted so I changed my request to a simple two color gel manicure. Was it what I originally wanted? No BUT I left feeling satisfied. I was cut once slightly but it was the electronic filer (I always feel like I get cut with those no matter where I go). She could have cleaned up a bit better but its nothing getting upset over. And Cindy gave me an amazing massage afterwards! As a mama of 3, a good spontaneous massage is welcomed. Most places give half assed massages and I enjoyed this one. Is it the most modern nail salon? No. Is it the cleanliest? Could be better. How was thustomer service? Kind and friendly. Would I come back again? Yes. For a simple gel manicure, yes I would come back.

Horrible. I feel like her hand is too heavy or something. The string had broke like 2-3 times. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for 10 years & she's the only person where the string kept breaking. & she left many hairs. It literally felt like she was struggling with this one hair by the way she was pulling & it felt like she was lifting my skin. I didn't want to let her know she left hairs cause of how painful she was to me. Threading hurts but the way she threads hurt x10.

For the past year I've been going to an individual nail technician and thought if I stuck with her,…read moreshe'd learn my difficult nails and be able to get my nails to the length I want them; but everytime I went, I'd break a nail or my gel builder overlay would lift before I was ready for another fill. Like I said, my nails are difficult; they start to curve inwards when they grow longer, and they also grow outward and upwards on some of my nails. Pretty much the opposite of what you'd want for your nails. It wasn't until I started coming to Jackie that my nails started growing longer, with no chipping, and no lifting. I've been coming to Jackie for about 3 or 4 months and I'm able to go about 3-3.5 weeks in between my fills. Jackie also has given me great advice on how to keep my nails healthy, and I feel that we've built great rapport with how communicative she is with scheduling my nail appointments, her friendly vibe and the chill atmosphere that the other staff gives off in the salon.
