Walking in we were immediately greeted by a delightful gentlemen who I unfortunately couldn't catch his name, that's on me he said it twice but I was so overwhelmed walking in! He took the time to explain exactly where everything was, what room included what, and what the key spots were. We only had a very limited time to poke around so I didn't even get to go upstairs unfortunately :( I was thrilled to see that they had merchandise, so we grabbed two amazing shirts that I've already worn. Clayton was incredibly charming ringing us up. His delightful jokes and willingness to put up with me going back and forth between sizes for 10 minutes still brings a smile to my face. I am so desperate to come back now that I know it is so close to DC (under an hour). Again, everyone was so kind and funny and just amazing and there was soooo much to look at. 10000/10, counting the days until I can come back!!!!

There is a great up station, climbing wall, nugget couch pieces, small ball pit, stage, large animals, tumbling mat (I think?), and lava tiles. Tons to do and lots of space to burn off energy. Downstairs there is a town area with a pizza place, school, fire station, etc. each small room is set up accordingly with everything the imagination needs. There is a kitchen area (with sink) for folks to eat in with lots of little chairs. My daughter's favorite room was not far from here--little grocery store area, ice cream cart, taco truck, and garden with little flowers to plant and a hose to pretend with! Parking was ample. We considered sending one of our children to Providence Christian Academy, but ended up walking out during a Pharisee-Like interview with its Headmaster, Mr. Shin. Mr. Shin actually did us a huge favor, as he revealed both his outer and his inner self to us that day. Interestingly, Mr. Shin only considers Baptists to be Christians, and the School should actually be called Providence Baptist Academy. We toured the school and found its physical infrastructure simple and adequate. We arrived in the afternoon, and it was a bit troubling to see around 30 children in an unsupervised setting in the cafeteria. I would have expected to see classes or instruction, but instead saw children entertaining themselves in a large municipal space. After the tour, we were told that Mr. Shin likes to meet all prospective parents. Mr. Shin began the interview by asking us the nature of our faith and belief. He then recounted his odd conversion story, telling us that he had previously been an atheist. Eventually he decided to become a believer. Subsequently during the time his wife was putting him through seminary (away from home), she developed a gambling problem. He asked her to stop gambling, but when she didn't, he leveraged her credit card debt to divorce her and gain 'sole custody' of their children. He paid back this debt, and became involved in a ministry, but that didn't work out well, so he decided to open a school instead. Missing from his story was any mention of Jesus Christ, Christ's love for us, and how we can improve ourselves by following Christ's teachings. During our interview, Mr. Shin asked where we attended church, announcing to us that because we were not Baptists we are not 'true Christians' and would not be going to Heaven. At this point we walked out of the interview, since it had become obvious that this was not a school where we would want to send our children. Our understanding of Christ's message is that it is intended for all Mankind. We did not experience that compassion from Mr. Shin. We would not want our children exposed to Mr. Shin's narrow interpretation of Christ's love. Instead of hearing Paul's message, we were confronted with the message of Saul. It is unfortunate that someone who 'self labels' themselves as a Christian has such a limited understanding of the nature of Christ's teachings. We are so fortunate that our children will not be subjected to this narrow and limited interpretation of Christ's message. It is unfortunate that Google does not allow us to give zero stars in a review.

I have two children who attend PCA and have been very pleased to get to know the teachers, parents,…read moreand other children who are a daily blessing to my kids. The school is a covenant school and requires that at least one parent have a saving faith in Christ. There are kids from various denominations of the Protestant faith and not just Baptist. The school recently moved into a new facility and is continuing to improve the resources available for the students. The best thing about PCA is that all of the teaches put everything they have into loving the children and teaching them about God.
