At first, everything was going great. The neon lights, the music, the laughter -- Galaxy Strikes looked like the perfect place to blow off some steam. I was having a genuinely amazing time bowling with friends. Smooth lanes, good vibes, and what felt like the start of a fun night out. But then the clock struck the end of our game... and the energy in the building flipped real quick. As we were wrapping up -- casually clearing pins and rolling the remaining bowling balls back like anyone would -- we were approached by a family who claimed they worked there. A husband, wife, and their son, all of whom were bowling themselves. What followed was an unnecessary, condescending lecture that left us all confused and honestly a little disrespected. It's one thing to be corrected -- it's another to be treated like a nuisance when you're literally just finishing your hour and doing no harm. If they do work there, maybe they should be taught how to speak to paying customers without acting like the place belongs only to them. And let's not ignore the food situation. I ordered donut holes. Simple, right? Should be quick. But I waited way longer than necessary. No apology, no update -- just cold indifference from the staff. At one point, the place felt almost unstaffed, and when you finally do get someone's attention, you're met with short replies and annoyed faces. I wanted to love this place. I was ready to tell everyone Galaxy Strikes was a hidden gem in Warrenton. But the way it ended? Left a bad taste in my mouth -- and not just because of the stale service. I want to like this place, especially because of the kids summer bowling program, but we spotted a smashed cockroach in the hallway next to the kitchen. Will have to find a new bowling alley for the summer to let the kids bowl. read more

Every time we have come to visit the employees and kind, friendly, hospitable, and the food is great. Love visiting Galaxy Strikes!

THE cleanest bowling alley I have ever been to. The manager/owner was very helpful when we had trouble with one of the arcade games and fixed the problem right away with kindness. Food was good; we enjoyed our time. There was a tiny bit of snark from one of the young employees but totally par for the course. Otherwise, I would love to come here often! read more

The children loved it! (3 and 6) and we had a fun time too. The bowling was perfect for little ones with bumpers and helping ball slides for the tiny bowler. Next time we'll try the putt putt! It was a bit expensive but everything is clean and fun! I especially like the ducky game you play on one ticket until you win! read more

My grandson is 2 and 1/2 and loved the arcade and bowling . They have balls light enough for his age and the assist piece for The little ones. Nice people read more

Less league nights or have a section reserved for walk ins we have gone atLeast 3 different times on different days of the week only to be turned away because of leagues while not all lanes are being utilized terrible management read more

We love going here and the staff is always great! Play the rubber duck claw machine, it's really easy to win and the pizza or fries =our usual order and always delicious. read more

We had our son's birthday party here and they were wonderful! It's so nice to have something like this in Warrenton. The pizza was good, the beer selection was good, and the staff members were friendly. We didn't do mini golf, but we did play in the arcade after bowling. The birthday party was worth the price and we will definitely go back again just for fun. read more

Not sure what the bad reviews are about this venue was awesome. I arranged a party for my daughter. Staff were friendly and professional and went over all the details, confirmed my reservation and called just before the party to ensure everything I ordered was good including extra food and people. The attendant assigned to our party was a really helpful young lady who set us up with matching purple table wear, helped me with all the party favors, got us cups to match, helped get the kids out of the arcade to start bowling so, we did not lose too much time on the lanes, helped with cleanup and take home boxes and was attentive in refills and asking us if we needed anything. Venue is reasonably priced for a party, clean, well staffed and they all did a fantastic job of making sure our birthday party was a grand success. This bowling center is small but provides big fun. The lanes are maintained well. The center is clean. Most of the staff is welcoming. Specifically, the male staff and management. While prices are comparably on the high side, the food is not all from the deep fryer or pizza oven like Bowlero Corporation.. Unlike the competition, the lanes are maintained, and the lane machinery is maintained so as not to damage your equipment. The floors and tables are always clean. Above all, they support both the league bowler and the open play bowler. Went bowling with my grandson. The lanes are clean and everything looks new and well maintained. We did have a couple of pin setting problems, but they were reset and fixed quickly. The lady at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely go there again. read more

My husband and I came here on a busy Friday. Staff seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. There was a wait, which was no big deal as we decided to order two beers and onion rings. We sat down and waited a bit. I went back to cashier and had to ask for my beers not realizing the cashier was supposed to give them to us upon ordering. Onion rings, tasted really good however, the quantity we received was not worth the price we paid. I believe $5. On another note, I would recommend the kitchen staff using a name or numbering system as it appeared the cashier had to remember where the orders went. I saw her telling the runner and pointing to a customer where the order should go. as our onion rings sat at the top of the counter, waiting for us to eat them. Unfortunately, my husband had to go up and ask for them. Management needs to re-evaluate their system during busy times. read more

I frequently attended this place with my family until today. My family paid for mini golf and bowling. Our lane was ready before we could finish our game of mini golf so the attendant told me could hold on to our balls and play after bowling. We proceeded to our lane and about 20 minutes into our game, my 2 year old daughter rolled a golf ball from the dragon assist which made it down the bowling alley accidentally. We went to inform an attendant of what happened and they went to look in the back. We waited until an older man approached us he was angry and accusatory. I told him it was an accident and he did not ease up. I told him that was no way to treat customers and he told me we came in to destroy his property. It was uncalled for and unprofessional to treat me and my children this way. I requested a refund for the way we were treated which was granted and the staff were apologetic. I later found out the man who yelled me is the owner Brett Mills. I will absolutely never visit this establishment again. So disappointing! read more

Honestly I wish I could give them 10 stars. They certainly saved this mom a panic attack and gave a 6 year old the best party. I had a party planned for my daughter at a local park but the weather said otherwise. 2 days before said birthday my husband called to see if they had availability and then I went in to talk to the owner Patty. We had to find a place for 16 kindergartners and they couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming. We even had a few extra kids and they gave us tips on how we could best make it work so everyone had fun. Bethany was our birthday assistant and she was a doll. Im planning for my nephews 4 year old birthday went horrible. I tried to make a reservation over the phone and they said i couldn't so we went inside to make reservations and they still wouldn't let me reserve a time so we had to wait for a hour for 2 lanes and the older gentleman man in the front was slightly rude/annoyed at what we were trying to do. I won't end up coming back here again and don't recommend. The place is clean and Nicely lit but the reservations part is annoying if anyone is trying to plan something here read more

Over an hour wait, no reservations allowed. FALSE advertising on the sodas, etc... type drinks. They say free refills for soda, tea, and lemonade BUT will not refill the pitchers. I ended up spending $22 after tax for two pitchers of soda for 4 people. When I asked the manager about he completely dismissed me only say "okay" to my QUESTIONS. It was the concession person that informed me refills are only on cups after having to purchase a second pitcher. Just a heads up, if you are planning on drinking more than a soda type drink in the 1-2 hours you're bowling get a cup for free refills. I want to address an issue that came up yesterday when 12 of us came to bowl. There was discussion about the pricing to bowl as the sign says $49.95 per lane limit of 6 participants. We wanted the 2 lanes for 2.5 hours. We each paid $28. This is a significant difference in cost as advertised. Some paid $32 as they did rent shoes for $4. One of our group of 55 & older group, said to the MOD that she felt cheated. that the price was not reasonable. The MOD (a younger man) told her to "watch her mouth", to which she responded that she hadn't cursed, but did feel cheated. He repeated his comment, following to which our good friend decided to leave. Those of us around her were embarrassed for her. It was not an appropriate handling of the situation by a manager in charge. The lack of training and lack of better explanation skills caused a situation that could have been avoided. Frankly, we beileve that the price was inaccurate, figured incorretly by the MOD who was defensive. This was poor exchange has essentially cost you return customers. The rest of the group bowled as not to make a bigger deal for one other lady who had set up the afternoon "fun". We had trouble not having the lanes as reserved, the lane 11 & 12 were not operating well. It was not accurate in loading the lanes, we needed to adjust scores and took more time away from bowling waiting for resolutions of issues. These would have been overlooked if the first issue with the counter exchange was not as rude as it was. We are very dissapointed. I visited here for the first time with my children and our entire homeschool co-op on a weekday during school hours. We had enough families to pack the empty lanes on a slow afternoon but they didn't want to let us use as many lanes as we needed claiming they'd have to turn others away. Aren't we paying customers too and its first come first serve? We definitely didn't get any kind of special discount and paid full price on everything whereas they otherwise would've had an empty facility that afternoon. Once done bowling I headed with my kids to the front desk to find out how to get tokens for the arcade and pay for mini golf. No signs anywhere for pricing, nobody behind counter. There was a laminated sheet sitting on the counter where customers approach which I though could be a pricing list. As I placed a few fingers on top of it just to flip it around on the glass case, a hostile man aggressively snatches it out from under my fingers and rudely says "thats mine!" like a child. It happened so fast i didnt even get a chance to look down at it to see if it was a pricing list that i thought it could be.. I tried to explain i was just trying to see if it was a list of prices and that hope didn't need to be so rude, his response was "im not being rude and you took something that wasn't yours, you're being rude"....i was so taken back at this I hardly knew how to respond, still trying to understand what just happened or why this man was behaving this way towards me. I hadn't taken anything, heck, I didnt even pick it up nor was I going to. I politely asked if there was a manager I could speak to and he yelled at me in front of about 5 others kids "I AM the manager!!". At this point I walked away because that guy is crazy. I googled the owners name and found a pic and ironically he walks in the front door 2mins later. I approached him and explained his staff was rude and his response was "yes, he told me. He said he was trying to ring something up and you took his ring sheet".....NO. I explained nobody was behind the counter and that was not true and exactly what had happened. The owner Brett Mills did not seem to care one way or the other. There was no apology or nothing. Just a lazy, "ok ill talk with him". Ive never seen such awful staff treat customers like that, especially in front of children. That man should not be working in that kind of environment or around families. I wanted to have my sons bday party here next month but we will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. What a shame Galaxy Strikes. Do better. read more

So oh my goodness this was a horrible experience I hope no parent has to go through. Over the weekend I went for a party, I've never been to this place before. There was about 16 kids and some other parents overall we had for Lane store cells which was nice. Our lane started to glitch a little bit that they had to call for maintenance. Unbeknownst to us the maintenance guy was already at the end where the pins are but we couldn't see him. The lights turned back on and so we thought it was OK to bowl. One of the children decided to bowl then all the sudden this rattlesnake of a man comes charging at me yelling at me in front of all the children that we almost cut his hand off. Mind you this was a seven year old bowl and he was not bowling that hard to begin with. This animal was lucky the kids were around me because I've been by myself and he started treating me that way I would've made sure he understood never to talk to me that way. What a horrible man to be employed where children are around he should be ashamed of himself. We don't know how these things work and if he was so worried about someone bowling while he's working on the lane then he should've called for another staff member to guide us through the process. An evil person that has no business working there and definitely has no customer service skills whatsoever. read more

Came for glow bowling and it was a hit for the fam. We enjoyed the cool pink pin event. The night staff were nicer compared to the morning staff, as we had issues when we came one Saturday morning. The two young ladies at the front desk were very friendly and answered all our questions. They were patient with us while we were deciding how long we should bowl for, and even sparked conversation with us. The food was delicious and the lady taking our order was kind. The one thing I recommend is there to be a way to let others know to put their balls back as me and my daughter couldn't find any light weight balls, and many lanes were filled to the brim with balls even below read more

Just tried to book for Friday night and they hung up on me. Was trying to book for 2 lanes or more...local big family. They are first come first serve on Fridays after 8pm. Manager was rude and unaccommodating. I was willing to book a "party" package to ensure we could play. Maybe we will stay home and play cards instead. read more
