I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable…read more I visited the Oxon Hill, MD location on a Saturday morning and waited in line for over 2.5 hours--along with approximately 50-60 other customers--while only ONE employee was operating the entire store and register. We were told that multiple staff members called out, leaving a single manager ("One") to handle everything alone. While I empathize with the employee, this reflects a serious failure in management and corporate planning by Ross Stores. There was no backup support, no urgency to resolve the situation, and no communication to customers about how it would be addressed. A 2.5-hour wait to check out is not just inconvenient--it's unreasonable and raises concerns about customer safety, store security, and employee conditions. One customer was elderly utilizing assisted walking device. They didn't announce cashier shortages until 2 hours into our waiting in line. If the items that I was picking up were not urgent, I would've walked out and many people did. This experience completely changed how I view this location. I strongly urge corporate to review staffing practices and implement contingency plans so customers are not subjected to this level of neglect. I hope this is taken seriously, as no customer should have to go through this.

They are not the most friendly in there to begin with and then top it off with a dose of insult in the customers face. Of course she called the store to complain but who knows what happened if anything at all. Best I can do is not spend my money where my service is not valued.

It looks like this store gets items not sold at other chains. Not all of the items are quality. The best items are the men's athletic clothes. There were new basketball shorts for $3.99. I found a fun black top that might make an appearance at a future Yelp event for $9.00. Most of the aisles were neat . It could be a full time job just picking up after customers. There were many employees in the store but not at the registers. Two registers were open. There were four or five employees behind the register area without any sense of urgency. I wasn't trying to come here and I can't say I will return to this location.

I was supposed to have a job interview today at this Burlington location. So I just walked in the store, ready to get interviewed so I showed the security guard my confirmation email/text but the manager said, "we're not hiring and we use a third party." That disappointed and embarrassed me, I don't understand why they would do this. Why are you advertising a job listing when you aren't hiring people? It's not only an embarrassment and humiliation on my part but to the other applicants who applied for this job listing. The ultimate intention of this post is to alert people that not every job listing is true and that the company should be more transparent and factual when posting said job listing and if they're not hiring people, they should email the applicants politely saying that they're not hiring. Edit: I'm a college student and I applied to this job as a part-time worker. The management didn't allow me to sit down with me to explain how come they weren't hiring.

During this most recent visit last week I was refitted and tried on at least a dozen bras, lingerie, and corsets. Ursula and Ashley were amazing--helpful, patient, and genuine hype girls (over the course of 2+ hours of indecision). They took turns bringing things based on what I picked out, my updated size, and whatever else caught their expert eye, and helped me get in and out of the corsets as needed. She helped find bras that worked for my shape and had a deep understanding of the bra construction (how each panel and underwire support fit). She helped me adjust the bras appropriately and walked through the steps of adjusting the bra once on for smoothness and the best fit. The bras were also super cute and the size range was good. I have a small band and large cup and it seemed like she had at least 10 that she had me check out and try on. She was also responsive to my questions and other asks like matching underwear, colors, strap types, etc. in the fitting room, they have a variety of tops you can try on with the bras to check out how they work with different outfits. Additionally, the store is very inclusive and welcoming to women in general- there were a variety of sizes, women were all treated equally and with a lot of care, men were not back in the fitting area, there was no discomfort/awkwardness as they were helping with adjustments (and parts were pretty hands on).
