I was in Tijuana on vacation from Nevada. I have been wanting to get my first tattoo so while I was visiting TJ I thought it'd be a good time to finally get it. I showed up without an appointment and the tattoo artist was available to sketch something out for me. Alberto Tirado understood what I wanted and drafted up exactly what I've been wanting. The session was about 15 minutes and my tattoo guy was super awesome. So glad I did it. I paid a great price and this place made my first tattoo experience very good! read more

Went in without an appointment and they took care of me right away. The place was very clean and showed me the needle that was still in the packaging. I got my septum pierced and will go back to get my nose pierced. My daughter got her nose pierced and I like that they used a hook instead of a screw on top. She has had no issues with her piercing. read more

I came here for a piercing and they quoted me on FB 400 pesos. Fine, no problem, but when I started asking for a price for other piercings..the girl looks on the price sheet on the wall and starts saying "it'll be 300 pesos" the girl right next to her quickly jumped in and told her in Spanish to charge me 400 pesos. (The girl seemed uncomfortable changing the price up when she realized I wasn't a dumb a$$) but continued to do what the other girl was telling her. I asked her "what the difference between the price her coworker was saying vs the price on the wall" and she said "they don't have it listed on the wall" I laughed and said it's ok I'll just do the belly piercing..she then shook her head at her coworker letting her know she was wrong for that and I could tell she was upset at her coworker for trying to scam me into paying more than the normal price. I'm ok with tipping for great customer service, but when I feel like I'm being dumbed down, it's over and all respect is lost. I do not recommend & do not go here read more

This place holds a special place in my heart. This is where I got my first piercing when I was a teenager and my second and my third... and basically I spent a lot of time and money here. I also bought a couple of used Stone Temple Pilots CD's. This was, and still is, the spot all punk rockers come at some point in their lives to get a tattoo, something pierced or to buy any essentials (patches, shirts, music, music posters, artwork, pins, piercing jewelry, etc.) The establishment is medium sized, and the piercing/tattoo area is clean. They have all new equipment and are very professional at what they do. They clearly take their profession seriously. The owner/piercer is from San Diego, so he speaks English fluently. The tattooer is awesome, make sure to check out his portfolio even if you're not looking to get inked, it's something cool to look at. read more

Im gonna save you some time by HIGHLY recommending Albert Castellano and making sure you set an appointment before walking in, I was visiting Tijuana for 3 days so I had plenty of time to check other shops his passion for art stood out as well as his attentiveness to what I wanted and what I didn't want. He was quick but I can tell he was not rushing through it by asking me about placement, shading, pain tolerance and making sure this piece was identical as the picture I sent him, which it was. The shop is very friendly bi-lingual, does piercing as well, free WiFi and the location is in a busy street but doesn't make you feel unsafe as it was my first time in tj I was cautious about walking down some streets. Parking isn't too much of a problem I just parked a street behind but I believe they offer parking as well!
