Delivery of the my tent was not coordinated well and my tent arrived all damaged and dirty. I spend time cleaning the tent for my event. I provided this feedback to them and never received a response and they purposely have been ignoring my calls. I was only able to get through once because I called from a different number. I have so many good things to say about this woman! She first came for an on-site survey in July to discuss options with me for my backyard wedding in Waxahachie. At this point I was unsure of how the planning would progress thanks to Covid. Sheri answered all of my "what if"s with kind and understanding reassurance. She gave me options and clearly explained each aspect of the process. I knew then that whatever date I would choose to have my wedding, I would be using Lone Star. We ending up moving forward with the October wedding date, and Sheri shared my excitement throughout the process. She helped me adjust counts for each table, chair, linen, dinnerware piece, and even the amount of lights I would need for the tent (I'm bad at math). Jump to the month(ish) prior to the big day--I emailed stress questions late at night, and adjusted my order more than I'd like to admit. Sheri answered my emails so quickly with the assistance and assurance I NEEDED. She kept me positive and kept me laughing throughout the process. She ensured that I felt confident in the order, the set up, and the final product. Owner Jon and his team came out the few days before the wedding to set up the tent. Let me just say, Jon is a phenomenal person. He and his team stayed late, ensured tent stability on a crazy windy weekend, and even came by the day of the event to make sure everything was set and ready. I love this company. They are kind, personable, hard-working, trustworthy and SO incredibly talented in what they do. I was beyond satisfied with their services, and will be recommending them to anyone who may need rental services. Lone Star Tents & Events, thank you so much for all that you have done! This of course screams red flag (scam) if a company will not put something in writing and provide you an invoice for what you owe and what you are getting for your money until you pay them. Super shady and I am disappointed that I wasted my time to find out they were playing games. The definition of an invoice is what you owe for something before it is received!
