I talked to a gentleman named Ramos (who was friendly) and he gave me a price for the tables and chairs over the phone and then said I would have to pay a deposit over the phone before I could receive an invoice in writing. This of course screams red flag (scam) if a company will not put something in writing and provide you an invoice for what you owe and what you are getting for your money until you pay them. I went on the website, paid deposit, added all my info and shortly after I received an email with the confirmation. I had a last minute need for chairs for an event I did where it was crucial to have a large amount of chairs that night. I called this group and they quickly got back to me saying they could do it. I would definitely recommend ELY. Customer service was great. They had everything I needed (tables, chairs, linen, margarita machine). They were fair with pricing and prompt with delivery and pickup. They were helpful in setting up the tables and the margarita machine. The only negative thing I'd say, is they may need to purchase new tables soon. A few of them were a little rocky. Yesterday we had the pleasure of renting out their frozen bounce house. I had given them a call the end of April to reserve for June 4th spoke to a gentleman he was very friendly explained their process of reserving the bounce house did require a deposit to save the date, they have a form of deposit payment through their website or Zelle. They confirmed the date with me when deposit was received. I called the day before because I noticed a new review that worried me a bit but they assured me they will be arriving before 12pm as I asked. The day of a lady arrived with the frozen bounce house before 12pm, very sweet lady interacted with my daughter while setting up the bounce house. Once up she cleaned and vacuumed, the bounce house was very clean no holes, no tears in very nice shape I was very pleased with it. While they may be more well know for their bounce house rentals for kid's parties, I recently rented a margarita machine for our office happy hour. When initially searching for a margarita machine rental, I realized how difficult it was to locate a I any who would be willing to deliver Downtown and go had the proper liability insurance our building required. From the first call, all the way to delivery and pick up, everything about ELY was fantastic! Josie helped take care of everything over the phone in regards to setting up delivery and was very prompt in providing the liability insurance coverage to our building management. Elizar was our delivery guy and I believe he is also the owner. He was on time, friendly, and helpful with the setup. Considering how difficult it is to make deliveries into Downtown highrises, ELY certainly impressed me. The prices are reasonable and the service wonderful. Out of 5 stars, I give ELY 10. It just could not have gone any easier or been more successful. The Background... I was throwing a birthday party last Saturday night for my hubby and had about 40 guests coming to my home. I wanted to offer Frozen Margaritas & Frozen Bellinis at the party, but had no experience with any of the local companies that offered the machines to rent. As I do so many times, I turned to YELP for some recommendations. Based on the really great review from ELY's first reviewer, I gave ELY a call - and it could not have turned out better! I was immediately impressed with The ELY rep that took my call. Her name was "Josie" and she was great. She made the process soo easy for me. I had many questions for her - from the service to the product, to the amount needed. She never rushed me off the phone and never made a sales pitch. After talking with her, I had a clear understanding of what I needed for my party and felt confident enough to immediately make my choices. As it turned out, my choices, based on Josie's input & recommendations, ended up being perfect! Josie's assistance did not stop there. She made arrangements to have the machine delivered to my home during the short window I had available and the same for the pick-up. The experience with ELY's Party Rentals, from Josie's assistance to the drop off and pick up of the machine, to the product, could not have gone better and I would call it exceptional. What I ordered and a review of the product... I ordered the double machine w frozen Margaritas on one side and frozen Bellinis on the other. I did this even though I assumed most of my guests would prefer the Matgaritas, because some of my close friends and I love frozen Bellinis. It turned out though, that the frozen Bellinis were so good, they were the surprising FAV drink of the night! Not that the Margarita's weren't also popular, because they were, but that was no surprise! One fun thing we did was to take shot glasses and fill some with Bellinis and some with Margaritas, put them all on a tray and pass them around. Everyone, even the beer and wine drinkers, enjoyed them as shooters and there were lots of requests for more. We ended making lots of trays to pass around throughout the night. One added surprise was the the appearance of the machine. In broad daylight, the machine is just your industrial looking machine. But, during the party, we had the machine in our party room and with the mood lighting, the machine (especially the Bellini side) glowed with color! It was a nice touch and added to the ambience of the room. The Only Thing I'll do Differently the Next Time: These machines are heavy. The next time, I'll have the delivery crew come to my garage entrance, which is only one step up into my home. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it sooner and the delivery crew carried that heavy machine up the 12 steps to my front door. I felt really bad about that and made sure they came to my garage entrance when they came back to pick up the machine. Just like Josie, the delivery crew couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They set everything up and were very patient in showing us the mechanics and refilling of the machine. We tipped them and they definitely deserved it. One last note: The machine only takes 1 and 1/2 hours to become completely frozen. No need to wait for that though! We drank the Margaritas & Bellinis on the rocks while prepping for the party and they were just as good! A+++++ experience!! Enjoy!! read more

Rented frozen drink machines from here, Josie who helped me over the to get the best price for my buck. They delivered the machine on time the machines were good (no problems) and the drinks were amazing. We were celebrating my nephew coming home from Kuwait and everyone had a wonderful time. Prior to calling ELY Party Rentals, I read a couple of positive reviews which led me to call about their services. However, during my call I was faced with the WORST customer service I have experienced. Josie, who I had the displeasure of speaking to, was short of rude to me. I was calling about table and chair rentals and she seemed aggravated with my questions to the point where she raised her voice and spoke extremely unprofessional to me. Although prices are affordable and I would have liked to find out a little more information about their rentals, I now have no interest in renting with this company. read more

Last week I rented a bounce house from Ely Party Rentals. When I sent an email to place the order I told Josie that the bouncehouse would be located on my driveway. She said no problem as the bouncehouse would come with sandbags to weight them down. The day of the party a man arrived with a small boy . The man could not speak english and the boy was his helper and interpreter. When I saw the installed bouncehouse I noticed that it didn't have sandbags. Instead it had huge pieces of jagged concrete left over from the construction site next door to me. I told the child that this wasnt safe and ask the man where are the sandbags. He told me that they forgot the sandbags and they had alot of jobs that day and couldn't bring them. So I called Josie at the office to find out what we could do since obviously big jagged pieces of concrete with 2 and 3 year olds wasn't going to work. I was fully expecting a response like "I'm so sorry they have a full day but we will bring the sand bags to you as soon as possible". Instead, I got "You need to control your kids at the party". At first I thought surely I misunderstood her but she kept repeating that over and over that I need to control the kids. My response to her was actually you need to fulfill your contract and provide a safe environment for the product you are placing on my property. She stood firm on her position however and wouldnt let me speak. I finally had to hang up on her because she was so rude and adament that I understand that I need to control the kids. This of course was totally unacceptable to me. Josie also told me that she had never spoken to me before which was not true as I had many exchanges through email from Josie. She later called me back to tell me she was indeed the person I was speaking to but had to have one last jab about controlling the kids. This was very important to her to put me in my place about that. Josie was extremely out of line and unprofessional. As a business owner I would never treat my clients like that and I would fire any of my employees that did. In the end, Ely Party Rentals did the right thing and brought the sand bags. I will say that the product once installed correctly was a huge hit at the party. The man and the child installing it were professional and apologetic for Josie's behavior. I hope that anyone reading this review will take into account that this may be a good company but it only takes one bad employee to completely ruin the experience. I will not be renting from this company again and will also provide my opinions to anyone who asks me for a recommendation. If Josie on her second call to me had of once been apologetic I would only be writing good reviews. Instead here is an example of one bad employee turning future business away from myself and everyone else I come into contact with. If you decide to use Ely Party Rentals do NOT deal with Josie and I hope your experience is better than mine. read more
