Kali was responsive, punctual, professional, and explained in detail what he had found, and what it meant. We have a pool, and old lighting throughout our yard, so he had his work cut out for him. He also answered all of our questions, and marked some additional electrical in the front yard we had forgotten to mention when we originally called. If we need to dig again, Advanced Underground Utility Locating is going to be our first call.

The local guy, Micah, came out and successfully located thousands of feet of electrical lines. He was on time and worked quickly. I always have a lot of questions for contractors that I engage and he was happy to answer them all. He can talk and work at the same time; a quality I highly value. He marked the electrical lines in paint and even gave me a stack of utility flags so I wouldn't lose the marks in the snow that wouldn't be far off. Much appreciated. As of this review, Advanced Underground Utility Locating does have an extremely cheesy website, but don't let that cement your impression of the work performed. Micah did a great job in accurately locating every last line and it was hundreds less than I thought it would cost. I highly recommended the company for locating utilities underground.

In less than 3 years concrete curbing has deteriorated in many areas. I have called this business…read more12 times and have NEVER received a response. This issue appears to be a bad batch of concrete which is not our fault. There were other issues with them that we overlooked but this is a major issue and that at least calls for a return call. Based on their lack of following up on our complaint I would recommend not using them.

We had hired excavators to dig our utility trench when, on the first day, they hit enough rock to…read moreadvise that we wouldn't be able to get the depth (or the cost!) that we had hoped for. The problem with that is that there are regulations for depth when it comes to utility trenching. A neighbor thankfully told me about Quality Drilling and Blasting. I pulled the excavators off the job, and hired these guys. They showed up that following Monday with a huge rock saw, and in the course of about 6 hours, had a 300 ft trench with a depth of 42". Matt was responsive and honest, explaining clearly the company's transparent and straightforward pricing. John, running the rock saw, was kind and accommodating, listened to our requests, and got the job done efficiently and correctly. I can't say enough positive things about these guys. Not only did they get the job done to the proper depth (three times deeper than what the excavators could do with their breaker) in an eighth of the time, but they did it at a reasonable cost, with great "trench side" manners and courtesy. If we ever need anything like this done again, we know who to call! Thank you Matt and John!
