Paid over $3000 for new installs on a kitchen remodel. Failed to work after a couple months. Electricians were incompetent. Office staff are impressively nefarious. Made multiple promises to resolve the issue and never did. No sense of personal responsibility or accountability. On several previous projects I seemed to have a hard time finding an electrician in Bend. I am having WebFoot install cables on my roof to prevent ice damns but I needed an electrician to connect them to the house wiring. They recommend I contact Young Electric. I can see why they were recommended. Young Electric sent Bob to help connect the wiring. My experience was very pleasant. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job running all the wires and setting up all the connections. I had a negative experience with Young electric. They scheduled a time to come out and look at installing electrical service to my new shop building. The date was for a wait of about a month. When the date came I received a phone call saying that they would not be coming after encountering problems at a previous job. I was told they could not reschedule me for 5 additional weeks. I made an appointment with Young Electric in December 2018. I met with Ken, partner with Young Electric to get a bid for an "electrical upgrade" for my Airbnb. The entire conversation took place in the Airbnb ! He checked the fuse box in the garage. He pointed out that I needed a new meter for my home. I received a written bid, half of it was for Pacific power. Ok. I get a loan and April 2019 the work starts. Ken is there with another, and both of them act like I am annoying them with my questions, RUDE! The Airbnb didn't get an "electrical upgrade " !!!!! New Pacific power box, and meter, that I didn't ask for. No upgrade in the AIrbnb !!! Contacting Thomas w/ Young elec. took forever. Getting an explanation for what exactly went on was painful. TOO BUSY for me !! Finally I get the bid for the Airbnb and it is just as expensive as what went on with the house. I felt betrayed, discounted, and ignored. We needed to have a receptacle rewired, another receptacle moved . Also an electrical circuit wasn't working. All the work was completed professionally and the cost was appropriate. We would hire them again if we had added work. read more

So I did a job for Jeremy the owner, I insulated his hanger. We finished the job on December 17 2020. It's February 4 today. We have still not been paid. And Jeremy won't get back to us. Watch out for this company, if the owner doesn't pay his bill's who knows about the rest. read more

I had my hot water heater short out on a Monday and was replaced that Friday afternoon (The soonest the plumber could get to me). After the plumber replaced the water heater, we discovered that it also blew the line going clear back to the electrical panel. This discovery of course was after hours. I called literally every Electrical company in the area and left a message explaining to them the problem and that I had now been without hot water for a week and was in desperate need of a Electrician. Most did not call me back. Two did. Chet's Electric said they could get to me in six months (I considered that response an insult since they knew my situation). Bend Electric said they could get to me in three weeks (another slap in the face). I had given up all hope until I got a call from Jeremy Young on Sunday....on a SUNDAY mind you!...who stated he would have someone out the next morning to run a new line. Not only did they keep in constant communication with me, Bob (who was assigned to my job. I hope I got his name right) even contacted me that he was running a few minutes late and then contacted me again when he was on his way. He worked quickly with a very professional and cheerful nature. Not only did the job ended up being $400 UNDER the quoted price but I got a 5 year warranty on the work performed! WOW! Oh yes.
