My wife went to lunch with a bunch of Neighbors and they all said oh no, don't use him once you pay him he never comes back. Several recommended using Oscar instead and gave her his number. He showed up when he said he would and was extremely detailed in all that he was going to do. His work was impeccable. He cleaned up after himself. His workers were great and we are extremely pleased with what he has done for us. He may not be the cheapest but you would be hard-pressed to find someone better. I got other bids and they ranged from advising me that all the stucco on the house needed to be replaced at thousands of dollars, to just power washing it. Brian cleaned off all the mildew, brought the stucco up to the current code by adding a slope to all horizontal surfaces for better drainage and fixed a couple of areas that weren't draining correctly. He got everything done in a day, cleaned up all materials and I thought his price was very reasonable for how hard he had to work (I had tried cleaning the stucco myself and it was hopeless!). I had water damage and possible rot caused by a backed up gutter…read moreand lots of cracking I contracted w TJ Construction after interviewing after interviewing more than a few contractors. I chose TJ because they were knowledgeable explained all the pros and cons of stucco patching , vs skim coating or actually replacing the stucco. Once they gave me the info they didn't try to sell me on a particular method. They gave me the time to research what I felt was necessary. I chose a full replacement of my stucco and contracted Pella to replace my windows at the same time. TJs team had to coordinate w with the Pella installers and ensure that the openings around the windows wouldn't leak in the future. To do this, the to cut back from the window opening after old window was removed. They then had to; built up the window surrounding and re-flash around the openings before the windows were installed. Once windows were installed, they built up the surrounding and then finally stuccoed around the windows. They did each window without ever leaving my interior exposed to the elements Their crew were polite diligent and hard working. They Started on October 31 and worked 6 days a week til mid November when they finished. The house has gone thru its first full winter and looks great. and it took them about 2.5 to 3 weeks to complete. Their prices were good and their work was top quality
