The "door-to-door" guy was very nice, and didn't present himself as a high-pressure sales guy. All the contract signing was done on the phone, which I found out today makes it just about impossible to locate the original contracts. I signed up for an "Unlimited Quarterly Window Service". But the only contact I've received from them after the initial cleaning was billing invoices. And to be fair, they did a good job cleaning our windows at the start of the contract, and also replaced two screens (which took a little over a week to get them back). The initial charge was $309.00, paid on 1 June 2026. We paid two subsequent monthly installments of $106.33 on 1 July 2026 and 1 August 2026, with no additional window cleanings. When I called to cancel the service due to some life changing events and a death in the family, they connected me to Jonathan, who just kept talking bur refused to cancel my contract unless I paid an additional $318.99 cancellation fee. AGAIN, WHAT A RIPOFF!!! Jonathan kept me on the phone for over 10 minutes, trying to offer some solution other than cancelling the contract. I explained to him I was trying to be nice, and patient, about this, but he refused to cancel the contract and just kept talking. I told him to provide me a copy of the SIGNED CONTRACT, which he continually ignored and just kept trying to provide me with "options". I told him to cancel my contract, and I wasn't paying them another dime! It got to the point I had to hang up on him because he wouldn't provide me a copy of the signed contract, AND he just wouldn't shut up. I hung up, and within 3 minutes, saw an UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE posted to my credit card for $318.99. All total that's $840.65... THAT IS $840.65... for ONE WINDOW CLEANING SERVICE AND TWO SCREEN REPLACEMENTS!!! RIPOFF!!! RIPOFF!!! RIPOFF!!! RIPOFF!!! RIPOFF!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Initially we went with them because they had said that they would make working with the insurance company seamless and extremely easy. They said they would take care of everything. Oh how wrong that statement was. after 1 month of them doing the initial work John West the owner sent a letter to us saying that he had put a lien on our house for non-payment, he then continued to call, text and email my wife demanding that we pay him. come to find out at that time he had not even sent the invoice to our insurance company or supplied them with any photos of the completed work, so they could cut the depreciation check for us to pay him. It then took him another 5 months to finally give the insurance company the needed information for them to send the payment out. After he sent me several emails demanding to know why this was taking so long, I called my insurance company to find out that all of this. When I sent him an email and then later had a conversation with him on the phone pointing out that it had taken so long because he was not suppling them the needed information. He got very irrational, defensive and insistent that he was now the victim of me "Harassing & Bullying him" he then proceeded to threaten me with filing lawsuits against me with his lawyer. Through an email exchange lasting over several hours he would insist that I continued to owe him varying amounts of money(changing with every email). The only type of invoices he would provide me were with, were jpegs of crumbled up pieces of paper that were scribbled and highlighted on barely even able to be read, (not a PDF as is standard with every other business.) The amount of disrespect, frustration and unprofessionalism we experienced while dealing with John can not be overstated or fully comprehended in this review. Many of my neighbors used him and I have not talked with one of them that did not have a bad experience with dealing with him.

In December 2024 we looked in the attic and noticed the roofing crew had replaced a damaged roof panel as requested in the contract, but had completely boarded over the vent for the bathroom fan. They left the vent hose laying on our attic insulation, which has been venting water condensation directly on our attic insulation. It wasn't worse because there happened to be a valley in the hose that held the water. We dumped over a gallon of accumulated condensation water out, that had been accumulating over a year! They also failed to replace a previously water-damaged roofing panel as requested when we hired them. That moldy damaged panel is still in place. Absolutely unacceptable.

Writing an update because the images from my last review were all removed because a few images were…read morefrom a neighbor's home. I am uploading only photos of my home this time, per review guidelines. I self-contracted our home for the last 6 months and have knowledge on the subject as I was forced to have several roofers, contractors, and manufacturers inspect Alex's work. Our superintendent even got in touch with Alex's crew directly and they informed him that they knowingly used a bad batch of shingles because they were trying to dry in the home too quickly. It was also evident that the underlayment ice shield was not pulled tight as it should have been, which caused the ripple effect. I will not excuse the framers (as Alex points out) for their part, but the issue with shingles and ice shield were not because of framing. You can see in the images the issues caused by the framing and then you can clearly see rippling as well. The sheathing did not delaminate but did warp, and a good/responsible roofer would call that out instead of knowingly installing bad shingles on a roof you know will have issues. Perhaps Alex has been roofing longer under a different company... but his original license was issued in 2022. I prefer not to communicate this way but as Alex has not replied to a single text message or call, it seems this was the only option to get his attention.
