It was nice to learn about Antojos 509 while we were in the tri-cities. We decided to stop by the public market in Kennewick while in the area and this is where we found Antojos 509. On a Sunday morning, there wasn't very many people inside the market space, so I think the employees were happy to see my partner and I walk by. They tempted us with a free samples and were super helpful in answering questions about the food. I ended up getting the tequenos, which are similar to mozzarella sticks with a lightly-battered dough, but better, because the cheese and dough weren't as heavy, which I liked. It was easy to snack on. They give you a side of a creamy sauce, like ranch, to go with, but you don't need it. They were good on its own. Whenever I'm in the tri-cities area, I'll pay a visit to the public market and would be interested to learn more about the Venezuelan offerings here. Antojos 509 offers something not as commonly found, which is reason enough to check this place out.
